1. Life, Death, and Euthanasia
One typically starts by seeing 'How long we live?' as important, moves on to seeing 'How well we live?' as more important and, if lucky, recognizes 'How we leave from this world?' as most important. Modern medical science proclaims success on extending one's life span which otherwise would have been shorter due to 'premature' death. It is said that the last thought before one falls asleep is also the first thought when one arises; along the same lines, it is also said that how we depart from this world significantly influences our future return: a rat killed by a cat is likely to return as a cat by virtue of it's last mental impression being that of a cat. Answers to questions around euthanasia (in cases involving suffering due to medical reasons without much hope for recovery) also need to ensure that the eventual exit is as natural as possible; not forcing one to live on (thereby prolonging the suffering)
