The students in the English 1 B- class with Jules Verne spend one session a week learning English with their Little Red Riding Hood classmates. During these sessions, they have a lot of fun as a group while learning things like songs, colors, and counting. Most importantly, they are learning how to write many words in English. They listened to the Christmas story "The Nutcracker" set to music by Tchaikovsky and learned about the Russian composer. The story has several beautiful melodies, and they danced to "Waltz of the Flowers" and accompanied instruments for "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" while drawing.
