2. Analyze the Learner:
A class of 20 students. 15 boys and 5 girls. All different types of
backgrounds.

3. Main Objective:
Students will describe the type of transportation
innovation that has occurred from 1903-2003 which was
a significant decade. Students will also categorize one
transportation milestone they have researched and turn
into a short power point along with the types of
transportation they have found through the decade
given to them on that day, and present with the class
at the end of the week what collectively they have
learned about each group of years. Each student will
know the innovation that has taken place through this
decade with 95% accuracy within one week, and the

Monday: 1903-1923 (old airplane)
-Research the type of old airplanes that occurred and the Wright
Brothers.
Tuesday: 1923-1943 (old ford truck)
-Do research of Henry Ford and his innovations.
Wednesday: 1943-1963 (Submarine)
Thursday: 1963-1983 (Moon boots)
Friday: 1983-2003 (Speed train)
5. Day by Day
Wednesday: 1943-1963 (Submarine)
-Watch short clips of the Titanic to see how ships were built and what they
became.
Thursday: 1963-1983 (Moon boots)
-Not much happened these years. Find random facts but also how transportation
kept evolving.
Friday: 1983-2003 (Speed train)
-Research how the railroad and train systems.
They will be given a few facts about these set of years that gets them thinking
a little bit. They will research any events they can find collectively and keep
their information throughout the week and at the end of the week put it all
together and present their findings in a PowerPoint.
6. Use of Technology:
We will be using computers and internet to do our
research. We also will be using power point and word
to put together all the pieces.
