interactions, to organizing the
work of learning, and to
establish rules for
communication and discourse
and each one this activity will
The visible thinking based approach to integrate the
development of students' thinking with content
learning across subject matters.
Routines exist in all classrooms, because they are the
patterns with which we operate and is dedicated to the task
of learning and working together in a classroom
environment. A routine can be thought of as any process,
and establish standards for communication and discourse.
Classrooms have routines that are used to manage the
behavior and interactions, to organize the work of learning,
classrooms also have routines that structure the way
students go about the process of learning. These learning
routines can be simple structures, such as reading a text
and answer the questions at the end of the chapter, or can
be designed to promote students' thinking, such as asking
students what they know, what want to know, and what
they have learned as part of a drive to study
