2. WORK EXPERINCES
June-November 2007 - worked as Volunteer as English Teacher at Mpola Primary School in
Manyoni, Singida
i. Volunteered to teach pupils from class iii to viii
February-August 2008- worked at Steadman Company Ltd (Synovate) research works as
Interviewer in Dar Es Salaam Branch.
Duties and Tasks assignied during worktime as "Interviewer”
i. Ask questions in accordance with instructions to obtain various specified information,
such as person's name, address, age, religious preference, and state of residency.
ii. Identify and resolve inconsistencies in interviewees' responses by means of appropriate
questioning and/or explanation.
iii. Compile, record and code results and data from interview or survey, using computer or
specified form.
iv. Review data obtained from interview for completeness and accuracy.
v. Contact individuals to be interviewed at home, place of business, or field location, by
telephone, mail, or in person.
vi. Assist individuals in filling out applications or questionnaires.
September 2008 –November 2009 worked World Vision International (Chipanga Project ) in
Dodoma region as facilitator in social projects including education and health services
The duties included:
i. Giving health education to the communities to the project areas.
ii. Visiting project beneficiaries at schools and to their houses .
January –September 2010 worked as a Teacher (Second Master) at Olokii Parish High
School-Arumeru in Arusha.
Responsibilities of Second Master(Teacher) assigned at Olokii Parish High School
i. Holds the key position in the school when Headmaster is not present
ii. To make sure that all staffs and students keeps timetable accordingly
iii. To inspire the staff in their day-to-day work inspire pupils to use all opportunities
provided, drawing out the best that is in them inspire the society.
iv. To maintain a character of the school to the community in all aspects
v. To make sure that all school rules and regulations are obeyed and respected by staffs
and students
3. March-April 2013 field worked at (Gender and Community Development Issues) at Bahi
District in Dodoma Region as Gender Expert
Responsibilities assigned during field:
i. Prepare community development daily report
ii. Participate in community and social development activities
iii. Identifying community skills, assets, issues and needs
iv. Developing new resources in dialogue with the community and evaluating
existing programs
v. Helping to raise public awareness on issues relevant to the community through various
program such as youth program, gender training and workshops of department.
vi. Liaising with with interested groups and individuals to set up new services
vii. Undertaking general administrative duties
November 2013-2014 worked at Greenbelt Schools Trust Fund (GSTF) in Morogoro as
Gender Advisor
Responsibilities that I assignedas GenderAdvisory:
i. Provide technical assistance to strengthen the capacity of the gender affairs in gender
policy development and advocacy in various projects of GSTF
ii. To assess gender based violence (GBV), plans, and programmes to identify gender
gaps.
iii. Support the GSTF in developing a gender component of an integrated Monitoring and
Evaluation framework, and support its implementation.
iv. Provide assistance to the Organisation to review its current processes for program
coordination, and improve or establish new processes as needed.
v. Lead the planning and organizing of meetings, workshops, and trainings related to
GSTF works or programs
vi. Represent GSTF in gender-related meetings with partners and stakeholders, including
national technical working group meetings.
vii. Work with the GSTF team to draft quarterly, semiannual, and annual activity reports
and document success stories to showcase GSTF Morogoro work.
viii. Contribute to proposal writing and identification of new programme opportunities in
GSTF Morogoro areas.
ix. Other duties as assigned.
4. June to July 2014 working at USAID/NAFAKA as Enumerator on Good Agricultural
Practices (GAPs) surveys at Kilombero in Morogoro region
My Duties included the following:
i. Inquire about a variety of specific information including a person's name, age, religious
preference, address and state of residency;
ii. Gather, record and encode information from a survey
iii. Get in touch with individuals to be interviewed in their own home or office by mail,
phone, or in person
iv. Recognize and give an account of problems in obtaining data
v. Submit completed tasks to a supervisor and discuss developments daily
vi. Review data gathered from an interview to check if they are complete and accurate;
vii. Help people in filling out the questionnaires
viii. Find and record addresses and households.
Facilitation at CHAYODE in socio-economic development projects in Morogoro Region
The Duties that assigned to me includes:
i. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or
consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
ii. Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to
inform management of training program status.
iii. Design, plan, organize, or direct orientation and training programs for employees or
customers.
iv. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
v. Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training
effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts.
vi. Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books, or
