Diverse in-depth experience as Head of Operations in BHEL, Ranipet, a large manufacturing unit of
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in Tamil Nadu. Was responsible for turnover of more than Rs 1000 Cr.
and profitability, productivity, quality, safety parameters. Retired in December 2015 as General
Manager from Power Sector business of BHEL after consistent outstanding performance in various
functions of the organization in Operations viz., production, tooling, process technology,
strategic/corporate planning and as Head of Project(BTG package 2x500MW Power project)
 In-depth exposure to all aspects of manufacturing plant operations in engineering industry.
Experience in construction management and site operations in power projects.
 Expertise in machining and fabrication processes. Sound in maintenance of machine tools,
jigs&fixtures, process planning, outsourcing, quality management, HSE activities.

construction of new shops, establishing new plant & machinery for over 250Cr, and in parallel
establishingnewprocessesandsettingnew standardsreducingcycle times (min of 30% to max
of 200% in critical processes) .

for satellite components in BHEL, Ranipet for ISRO and establishing the processes.
