Achievements
Stage 1
Based upon the past experience and studies done on B III Turbine internals we done modifications of the internals
like change of MOC of bush Housing, change in design of guide vanes and bottom cover in one of the unit. Which
was commissioned successfully and got better results in terms of parameters (gaps, pressure developed,
temperature riseand thrust) and combat againstsilt.
Stage 2
In second stage in addition of above we done the complete modifications on head cover side and run that unit on
more worst conditions (higher PPM) than previous and observe continuously on it behavior. Till date unit
performing good and no abnormal situation observed.
