2. Core Responsibilities
A 600MW unit of Harbin Boiler, Dongfang Turbine, Dongfang Generator
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer :
• Carrying out modification works, Development of Mechanical Maintenance
Procedures, continuous review of mechanical maintenance practices to
ensure the high availability.
• Leading and supervising the maintenance work in case of breakdown,
reviewing the health of the Equipments, Utility items and thereby long term
uninterrupted service of equipment
• Maintenance Shift Engineer for boiler and its auxiliaries.
• Handling and trouble shooting of any breakdown , emergency activities in
boiler and its auxiliaries
• Experience in overhauling of various type of fans(ID fan, FD fan, PA fan,
Seal air fan, Scanner air fan), Mills(Ball mills), Valves, pumps, burner, Oil
guns, Boiler & auxiliaries, soot blowers, Boiler drum etc .Spare management
of both indigenous and import items.
• Carry out root cause analysis for minimizing repetitive jobs. Identify areas of
breakdown and take up steps to rectify the problem.
• Identify and interact with workshop for repair activities .Maintain integrity of
maintenance SAP PM and SAP-MM data by timely and correct data entries
and validations.

" Analysis of systematic maintenance and replacement of conveyor system" at FACT(The
Fertiliser And Chemicals Travancore Limited) cochin.
TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:
• Undergone an In Plant Training at Penna Electricity(58.2 mw combined cycle power
plant),Ramnathapuram,T.N for duration 8 days.
• Undergone a training program on "Science and Technology Capacity Building For Industrial
Needs" by the tamilnadu state counsil at MSEC,Kilakarai for duration of 5 days.
