2. Field Trip
• Students experience activity together
• For example: a movie or a field trip
3. Retelling the Story
• Students take turns verbally retelling the story of the event while the
instructor writes them on the board or a large piece of butcher paper
• Do not correct mistakes, write the words or phrases exactly how the students
dictate it
4. Read it Together
• After the story id complete then you read it together as a class
• Now is the time for corrections and new vocabulary words
• This is also the time to put the story in the correct order or sequence
5. Activities with the Story
• The story can be re-read
• The story can be put into notebooks or journals
• The story can be cut up into different sentences and rearranged
• Students can create a project for the story: a food dish, a beverage, a drawing,
a sketch, a painting, students can also reenact the event or story.
