2. This was the first template that appealed to me, due to the simplistic layout and
easy to navigate features. I like idea of the main feature of my magazine/site
being so dominant on the home page. The navigation bar at the top of the page
is easily accessible for my users however, I’d prefer the page title to be more
dominant.
3. I really like this template, as the large image and headings stood out to me when
scrolling through the gallery of templates. Again, the well located navigation bar
means all of my posts can be organised and easy to fine. However this design is
quite minimalistic in comparison to others I have looked at and would be better for
the use of a personal blog.
4. I was considering this template at first but after finding more, I have
decided this is too basic for my site and my deter users as there are no
interesting features or aspects of the page.
5. This template s more marketed towards a music company, so has conventions
similar to that of my magazine, as my magazine is music, culture and events
based. I like the layout of the homepage as I can position my masthead in the top
left and have my navigation bar alongside it. As well as this, I can include a large
image for my main story but also underneath include more of my features and
articles. I feel as if the layout of this template will be easy to use and will make my
audience want to use it more.
