2. Noun
• A word used to identify any of a class of
people, places, or things or to name a
particular one of these.
• A noun is a word used as the name of a
person, place or thing.
• It is a word that is the name of a person,
place or thing, quality, action etc.

3. Pronoun
• A word that can function as a noun phrase
used by itself and that refers either to the
participants in the discourse (e.g. I, you ) or
to someone or something mentioned
elsewhere in the discourse (e.g. she, it, this ).
• A word that is used instead of a noun.
• A word used in place of a noun.

4. Complex sentence
• A complex sentence is a sentence that
contains one independent and at least one
dependent clause (sometimes called a
subordinate clause). ... When these two types
of clauses appear in a sentence, we create
a complex sentence. Consider this example: I
like to eat the candy before I watch a movie.
I like to eat candy before I watch a movie

5. Conjuction
• The word who joins or connects two
statements.
• A word used to connect clauses or sentences
or to coordinate words in the same clause
(e.g. and, but, if ).

6. Relative Pronoun
• A relative pronoun is a word that introduces a
dependent (or relative) clause and connects it to
an independent clause. Relative pronouns, like
conjunctions, are words that join clauses - in
this case, a relative clause to its main clause. The
type of relative pronoun used depends on what
kind of noun is being described.
• The word who does, double work, the work of a
pronoun and also the work of a conjunction.
