4. Album NameWe have chosen the name of the album to be ‘soul
searching’. The definition for soul searching is
‘deep and anxious consideration of one's emotions
and motives or of the correctness of a course of
action.’ This means that the lyrics in our chosen
song link to love and passion for someone. We have
also chosen some other song titles to feature in the
album that will link to ‘soul searching’ to tie them all
together and create fluidity.

12. All the way
We analysed some indie
band albums and
decided to use 12 tracks
on the album as this is
the average number of
tracks.
6. After doing some research into how many
tracks are usually on an album I came
across this information:
‘A music CD can hold 60-70 minutes of
music and the average song is about 5
minutes long. Do the math and you'll see
that gives you about 12 songs per CD. ‘
This helped make the decision to use 12
songs.
