The painting was to show the last meeting of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and his Apostles eating the bread that he claimed to be his body, and the
wine that they were drinking that he claimed as his blood. The amazing master piece that Da Vinci created took roughly three long years to

The Inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci Everyone knows Leonardo Da Vinci for his Last Supper Painting and the Mona Lisa. Not only was Da Vinci
a painter he was also an inventor. He had a fascination for planes and other unique things. He made the designs for things like guns and planes that
we use for our military and did not even know he was the first with the ideas of these inventions . He made designs for four flying machines such as
the anemometer and the parachute. He made designs for four war machines such has the crossbow and armed car. He made designs for five
innovations such the clock and the colossus. And last but not least, he designed two water machines such as the scuba gear.

Andy Warhol's Marilyn is the complete opposite of the Mona Lisa. None of the colors are natural, except, maybe, the makeup, and can appear
shocking to the eye at first glance. All aspects of the painting are bright; eyes, lips, eye shadow, and hair. Warhol painted Marilyn in ten different

No brush strokes are visible in either painting, and appear a bit foggy. The Mona Lisa is this way due to the technique, sfumato, discussed earlier. In

Born on April 15, 1453, in Italy as the son of a lawyer,Leonardo Da Vinci was destined to be a great painter. At the age of 31, he moved to Milan and
begun working for the ruling Sforza family as a sculptor, painter, architect, and engineer. At this point, he was already a master of painting, and he
wanted to pursue science. In fact, he studied geology, flight, gravity, and optics. He even studied anatomy to get better at painting. It is said that his
work was so good that if it was legible, he could have been called a scientist. Unfortunately, 16 years later, he had to leave because of the invasions
from the French, and he went to work on other things. In 1506, he did return to Milan for 4 years, followed by three in Rome. Eventually, he died on
May 2, 1519, in Amboise, France.
