Editor's Notes

  • #2 This is a training module on Fluke Corporation Thermal Imagers
  • #3 Welcome to the training module on Fluke’s Image Viewer. Here we study the basic concept of using the IR-Fusion Technology and applications of the image viewer.
  • #4 Fluke’s Image Viewer is a perfect tool for the problem solving arsenal with its plethora of options and abilities. Built for tough work environments, the fluke Image Viewer is a high-performance, fully radiometric imager and is ideal for troubleshooting electrical installations, electro-mechanical equipment, process equipment, HVAC/R equipment and others. It includes a Camera, AC power supply/battery charger, SD Memory Card, SD Card reader for image download (USB), Smartview Software with free software updates for life, rugged hard carrying case, soft transport bag, hand strap, users manual and warranty registration card.
  • #5 This Page gives information on the structure of the Image viewer device. It has a Visual Camera Lens, lens Cover, AC Adapter charging terminal, Focusing Ring, Image Capture Trigger, Thermal Imager Lens, Handstrap for adjusting Right or Left Hand, LCD Brightness control, Micro phone for Voice annotation, speaker for sound and voice playback.
  • #6 IR-Fusion captures infrared and visual (visible light) images and simultaneously displays the images fused together, adding a new dimension of detail that saves time and money and best conveys infrared information of each specific application and environment. Viewing modes. More than picture in picture Infrared images alone can be difficult to understand, which is why Fluke pioneered IR-Fusion, a revolutionary marriage of visible and infrared images. Automatically capturing a visible image with every infrared image allows to you always know exactly what you’re looking at. Fluke’s IR-Fusion to delivers the industry’s best thermal images.
  • #7 The Fluke Ti10/25 Thermal Imager brings the powerful diagnostic and predictive maintenance capabilities of infrared thermography within reach of the service and maintenance personnel who are most familiar with plant equipment. Built for the tough industrial maintenance environment, the Fluke Ti10/25 Thermal Imager can be used for inspections throughout a plant which includes the listed applications
  • #8 Fluke thermal imagers are designed, tested, and manufactured in the USA, and feature a two year warranty. Thermal imagers are used by ghost hunters to visually detect inexplicable cold or hot spots which can indicate paranormal activity. The Fluke T10 can measure and display ambient temperatures as low as 14°F and as high as 122°F, and comes with a 2GB SD card for storing photos taken with the imager. It's also extremely durable and can survive a 6.5 foot drop for all those unexpected Dude Run.
  • #9 The rugged Fluke Ti10 Thermal Imagers can withstand up to a drop of 6.5 feet (2 meters), and are IP54 rated to withstand water and dust. With a widescreen full color LCD display, optimized thermal sensitivity, and a temperature measurement range of -20 °C to +250 °C for the Ti10 , the thermal imagers are suitable for most industrial, electrical and commercial applications, allowing users to operate from a safe distance and still see small temperature differences.
  • #10 The Fluke Ti32 is a new and improved high performance thermal imager that is even more easy to use and rugged than is predecessors.   The new Fluke Ti32 features a powerful 320 x 240 sensor into the rugged, award winning design of the Ti10 and Ti25, producing the first high performance, industrial grade thermal imager. The result is detailed, strikingly crisp images that, coupled with Fluke’s patented IR-Fusion, are inevitably going to make a lasting impression.
  • #11 This new IR imaging camera will enable Fluke customers do exactly that Identify even the most minute differences in temperature that may reveal problems with the industry’s leading thermal sensitivity (NETD). Automatic alignment (parallax correction) of infrared and visual images with patented Fluke IR-Fusion. Tested and engineered to withstand a 2 meter (6.5 foot) drop giving you the ultimate peace of mind. Withstands water and dust with an IP54 test rating
  • #12 Thermal imager with standard infrared lens; ac power supply and battery pack charger including mains adapters; two, rugged lithium ion smart battery packs; SD memory card; multi-format USB memory card reader for downloading images into your computer; SmartView® software with free software upgrades for life; rugged, hard carrying case; soft transport bag; adjustable hand strap; printed users manual; warranty registration card; interactive training DVD.
  • #13 Fusing infrared and visual (visible light) images, the fluke Image viewer is capable of communicating critical information faster and easier, which makes traditional infrared images are no longer enough. IR-Fusion, a patent-pending technology that simultaneously captures a digital photo in addition to the infrared image and fuses it together taking the mystery out of IR image analysis. IR-Fusion helps users recognize image details and better identify problem areas by quickly scrolling through the different viewing modes. This IR-Fusion technology comes as a standard on all Ti10 models.
  • #14 InsideIR Thermal Image Analysis Software (InsideIR) and a PC is used to retrieve, archive, manage and analyze thermal images captured with a Fluke Thermal Imager. One must separately initialize each model of Thermal Imager to be used with the software. Each model has its own set of USB drivers. The Thermal Imager can timestamp images as you capture them. Before capturing images, set its clock to the local time
