OBJETIVE:
Seeking a full time Mechanical and Technical Assistance position for the rebuild, inspection, installation and startup of
mechanical equipment which will enable me to utilize my skills, knowledge, and abilities in the field of heavy duty
equipment assembly, testing and repair.
SKILLS
Experience in assembly, repair, setup and support tests or development tests including startup and comissioning of
various turbomachinery compressors including GE Rotoflow, AtlasCopco Mafi Trench, LA Turbine, Cryostar and Texas
Turbine turboexpanders ranging from 10 frame to heavy duty 50 frame, by attaching associated equipment including oil
systems, buffer gas systems, and PLC.
Conduct industry compliance repairs, testing and commisioning to validate the safe and reliable operation of other
turbomachinery, including GE AC Compressor single stage D/DH frames and multistage centrifugal compressors, oil free
screw compressors up to 250xl frame, generators, barrel compressors and gearboxes.
During the testing process, monitored real-time data including vibration, temperature, and pressure; evaluated health of
machine; and determined next steps. Provided technical support for on-site customer representatives.
Ensured in-house equipment and instrumentation were calibrated and in optimal condition to support testing
requirements.
Working knowledge of measurement instrumentation and other common test equipment.
Some experience in welding techniques and pipe fitting.
Blueprint knowledge.
Experience in quality control and inspection.(incoming dimensions of old and new parts, mechanical and electrical
runouts, NDT, function tests etc..)
Some balancing experience.
Field engineer work experience.
TRAINING AND EDUCATION:
Electrical troubleshooting through L.A. Freighliner. Graduated with certificate of course completion on 08/2000.
Pomona Vocational Center Welding Procedures. Obtained certificate of class completion
on 05/1997.
Chaffey College R.O.P. Basic AC/DC Electronics. Graduated with certificate of course completion
on 12/1996.
Ganesha High School, Pomona, CA . Received diploma on 02/1996.
