We are here now …. Next step● Historically the advent/evolution of media has impacted the educational phenomenon.● Social media represents the latest in the long list of media inventions- oral, print, electronic, multimedia, mass media.

Advantage Faculty● A key feature of Social Media is its round-the-clock accessibility, making it easy for teachers to work on lesson plans (add lesson plan here ( or any academic deliverable) at their convenience● Link rich data sources to lesson plans- enrich education ○ Example joke (spell check)
Web is Learners Home● Current generation of students are ○ practically digital natives – ■ easy to find them on web ○ Skilled at texting, browsing and searching ■ Need to build on them and take it further
