Naya Energy developed an energy analytics service that provides businesses visibility into their energy usage at the device level and maps it to key metrics like productivity, efficiency, and cost. Their solution involves deploying IoT sensors to collect real-time energy data at commercial and industrial sites. This data is analyzed on Naya Energy's cloud-based platform to provide customers alerts and recommendations for reducing costs and equipment downtime. Naya Energy targets the commercial and industrial market segments and offers consultative energy assessments as well as a recurring analytics service to monitor customer sites. Their competitive advantages include presenting energy data with relevant business context and having a patented overlay technology that makes the data actionable.
2. Vision
“Naya Energy does for energy what
GPS did for navigation”
Energy is an industry ripe for
disruption
• 94% of respondents to a PwC report
expect the utility industry's status quo to
be completely shaken up in less than 20
years - FastCompany
3. The Problem
Due to lack of visibility into how they are
charged for electricity, businesses treat it as an
uncontrollable fixed cost.
4. The Naya Solution
Naya Energy developed an energy analytics
service that provides visibility to an organization
by mapping how energy is used at a device-level
to the things that matter most to a business:
productivity, efficiency and cost.
5. Market Opportunity
For commercial and industrial businesses who are
forced to think of energy as an uncontrollable fixed
cost, Naya Energy is the energy management
service that helps companies reduce costs, prevent
equipment failures, and increase operating margins.
Unlike Schneider Electric and Honeywell, Naya
Energy offers cost-effective, hardware agnostic
energy monitoring and control solutions.

8. What We Do
Naya Energy performs Energy Assessments that measures energy usage by
connecting a company’s location to the Naya Energy Sensing Platform (Naya
ESP™).
Naya ESP increases both the granularity (down to the device-level) and the
frequency (in real-time) with which organizations receive energy data making it
actionable via alerts.
9. How We Do it
Naya Energy deploys IOT sensors that measure energy data in excess of
500 times a second and report usage every 4-30 seconds
The Control Server delivers this real time data every minute to the Naya
ESP running in the cloud.
Once on the platform we can map energy usage to other data such as rate
plan, device specifications, environmental data, and business drivers
enabling customers to automate alerts, optimize usage, reduce costs
