2.  As our thriller is a small production film, it is most
likely to be distributed by a smaller distribution
company and perhaps a theatrical company. This is as
it doesn’t have the funding for large scale
advertisement, I would expect ‘Sacrament’ to have a
small distribution to local theatrical screens. Our
thriller would appeal to distributors as its an
independent made British film, so it offers them the
ability to appeal to a potentially new audience.

3.  Momentum Pictures (also know as Alliance Films
UK) is one of the leading independent motion picture
distributors in the UK and Ireland and releases
approximately 20 theatrical films a year. The company
is also owned by Paramount Pictures which is within
the top 6 distributors, which together distribute 73%
of films to the UK, this would help Sacrament to get
wider distribution.

4. Momentum is about to release the
thriller HeadHunters into UK cinemas
with it already taking $1.7m on the
opening weekend in Norway in late last
