2. The Program in American Language Studies (PALS) is an intensive English as a Second Language Program at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Located in Conklin Hall, PALS has been a part of the Rutgers community for more than 20 years, giving English instruction to a diverse student body. PALS offers courses in the following areas: Intensive ESL Program Evening & Weekend Classes TOEFL Preparation MELAB Test Center Accent Reduction University Courses–Graduate University Courses–Undergraduate University Courses–Non-Matriculated English for Academic Purposes TESL/TESOL/TEFL Certification
3. PALS annually runs six sessions and a winter workshop. Minimum Academic Requirement: Proof of completion of High School (or GED Certificate) 3. $100 application fee (non-refundable) Students requiring an I-20 to apply for an F-1 student visa must also submit the following items: 4.
