OBJECTIVE
To help international students who want to study in the US. I am interested in all aspects of
the ESL student experience: from teaching English in their country all the way to completing
a bachelor’s in the US. I have had experience teaching overseas, recruiting, advising,
teacher-training and I would like to take on administrative roles as well.
EXPERIENCE
Visiting Instructor, University of Central Florida Aug 2015-present
Instructor of all skill areas in the English Language Institute. Developed curricula for
grammar and communication skills courses. Assisted in student advising and recruiting
development. Represented program at TESOL Convention 2016.
ESL Instructor, InLingua Language Center, Orlando, Florida Aug 2011- May 2015
Taught conversational English to mostly adult learners from Brazil.
Adjunct Professor, Seminole State College Aug 2011-May 2015
Taught ESOL and EAP classes to working professionals and those who wanted to pursue a
university degree.
Coordinator, American University of Iraq-Sulaimania Jul 2009-Jul 2011
Took on various roles to build Continuing Education Department. We helped local
professionals to improve their English and prepare for TOEFL test so they could complete a
master’s degree in the U.K. or U.S.
