The role of the Director of Academic Technology Services is to promote the integration of technology within the district. Their responsibilities do not include distribution of hardware nor AUP investigations. The role of the Campus Instructional Technologist is to facilitate technology integration among teachers and staff. They collaborate with teachers in the development of technology projects to promote student achievement. They design staff development based on campus need. The role of the ATS Coordinator for Elementary Schools is to disseminate data and information to the campus CIT. They train CIT’s on available technology use for each campus. The role of the teacher is to integrate technology in teaching and learning to promote student achievement. The role of the student is to use technology in a variety of ways to meet their learning needs and gain exposure to a wide variety of technology tools.
