ONE ENTRANCE
• A Type of Christ. The only way to God,
to salvation.
• Four sets of curtains, representing the
four Gospels of salvation of the New
Testament. Covenant.
• Apparently this entrance gate was
never closed for any repentant Israeli
that want to come seeking forgiveness
for his sins, and for worshiping the
Lord.
• What they had to do is DECIDE to come
to the gate of meeting and enter
through the door to be able to be
forgiven and worship the Lord.

• 36 “You shall make a screen for
the door of the
tabernacle, woven of blue,
purple, and scarlet thread, and
fine woven linen, made by a
weaver. 37 And you shall make
for the screen five pillars of
acacia wood, and overlay them
with gold; their hooks shall
be gold, and you shall cast five
sockets of bronze for them.

TYPIFYING THE FIVE GIFTS OF THE SON.

the tree of life.

12. ENTERING THE HOLY OF HOLIES
• For entering into the Holy of Holies, a man has to pass through THE FOUR PILLARS.
• Four is a type of testing and tribulation.
• If a man desires to return to Eden (the realm of complete oneness with God), he
must pass through the flaming sword.
• The burning of the incense on the altar of incense is the type of the complete
offering of the soul of man to God.
• Man at the height of his achievement in righteousness, loses himself and becomes
absorbed into God.

13. EXODUS 26:31-32 (NKJV)
• 31 “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and
scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an
artistic design of cherubim. 32 You shall hang it upon the four
pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall
be gold, upon four sockets of silver.
• Cherubim were on the veil, and cherubim were on the mercy seat.
• Here we find four pillars of wood overlaid with gold and set in
silver sockets to keep them upright.

19. THE COVERING
OF THE TABERNACLE

• The Cherubim the first covering. The
ones closest to the throne of God.
• The second covering, animals’ skin.
• The third covering, animals’ skin.
• The final covering, animals’ skin, the
one visible to the eye.

20. EXODUS 26:1-3 (NKJV)
• First covering, THE EMBROIDERY
• 26 “Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten
curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and
scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave
them. 2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits,
and the width of each curtain four cubits. And every one of the
curtains shall have the same measurements. 3 Five curtains shall
be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be
coupled to one another.

SECOND COVERING: GOATS’ HAIR
• 7 “You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair, to be a tent over the
tabernacle. You shall make eleven curtains. 8 The length of each
curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four
cubits; and the eleven curtains shall all have the same
measurements. 9 And you shall couple five curtains by themselves
and six curtains by themselves, and you shall double over the sixth
curtain at the forefront of the tent.
• 12 The remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half
curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the
tabernacle. 13 And a cubit on one side and a cubit on the other
side, of what remains of the length of the curtains of the tent, shall
hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side,
to cover it.

22. Exodus 26:14 (NKJV)
• 14 “You shall also make a covering of ram skins dyed red for
tent, and a covering of badger skins above that.
• Third covering, RAMS’ SKINS.
• Fourth covering, BADGERS’ SKINS.

23. THE EMBROIDERY
• Ten curtains of blue, purple, scarlet and white fine twined linen.
• They were hand-woven with cherubim in them, made by the women.
• Woman, a type of the church.
• Embroidery, type of work/labor of love in the Spirit, directed by the Lord, just
as he directed Moses.
• The cherubim, a symbol of covering. When we move in the Spirit, the
heavenly host joins us becoming a covering.
• As individual we cannot, but the Spirit in the body covers us, and because of
that those around us.
• Isaiah 30:1, “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take
counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my
spirit, that they may add sin to sin.”

24. THE EMBROIDERY COVERING
• HOLY SPIRIT COVERING
• BLUE thread speaks of sanctification. The process by which the nature of the Spirit
burns my flesh. When He’s done His work on me, I not only bear the mark of
Christ, but I am all His.
• CHRIST COVERING
• PURPLE thread speaks of the King. The son clothed with his father; his nakedness
is covered by the presence and power of the King. (Galatians 3:27)
• BLOOD COVERING
• SCARLET thread means sacrifice. Symbolized by a deliberate and careful work,
“fine twined.”
• ANGELIC COVERING
• WHITE, fine twined linen thread means purity; holiness. A deliberate and careful
work, “fine twined.”

25. GOATS’ HAIR COVERING
• Exodus 26:7, “And thou shalt make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering upon
the tabernacle.”
• The goat is a sacrificial animal, here we see giving his own covering to be used for
the covering of the tabernacle.
• This covering speaks of the accumulated sacrifice of the saints, which increases the
anointing, or the covering.
• We inherit of the labor and lives of millions of brethren who have gone before.
• As we build, we are conscious of building on the foundation of the labors and
sacrifices of others.
• We labor upon the lives of others for good or evil. Blessed are those who hang a
permanent piece of their hair or skin to adorn another’s tabernacle.

26. RAMS’ SKINS COVERING
• After the fall in Eden, God slew some animals and took their skins to be used as a
covering for man’s nakedness.
• In the building of the tabernacle, many animals were sacrificed, so that their skins
be used to make a covering for the tabernacle.
• Here we strongly see the principle of death to self.
• The Rams’ skins were dyed red, this color is speaking of Death to Self.
• Self has absolutely no place in the tabernacle of God.
• Those who are in Christ, in a sense are like dead men:
Dead to self and the world, and alive in Christ.
• The greater the deadness, this is, the less flesh, the more glorious the anointing or
covering.

27. BADGERS’ SKINS COVERING
• The covering of the tabernacle is a message of sacrifice.
• There were no badgers in that part of the country, but probably the Israelites
brought the skins from Egypt.
• The badgers skins were not much desired as the ones of other animals.
• Their skins, used to cover the outside of the tent, were able to withstand all the
rigors of the climate and to remain intact.
• It could be that these animals had tougher skins, and were used by God to build
the covering oh the tabernacle.
• God uses the right material, and wherever He puts us, that is just where we should
be, and the purpose for which we are best suited.
• This covering or anointing faces the sun, the wind, the rain, the heat and the cold,
and remains intact, and it covers all the covers.
