1. This was our robotics project! For the project we made a disco scenery! We started with a box, which we
painted black on the sides and top and white on the bottom. We made a DJ turntable to the left side of the
box made of cardboard and part of a poptart box painted black. On top of the box was a table with bottle
caps as the turn tables. On the right side we put our dance floor which consisted of lights strung up
through the bottom of the box with a plastic covering over to make the dance floor. The top of the box had
a 360 servo that was connected to the disco ball that spun while the lights flashed. In the top left corner of
the box we put strobe lights that flashed ferociously while the disco ball spun. We also printed out 2
people and glued them to the disco floor to resemble the disco fever flowing through our box.
If I had a chance to remake the project I would make sure the sensors worked so the lights would come
on automatically. I would also have a proper disco song playing while the lights flashed the entire time.
We could also make a movable figure that actually danced along to the music if time permitted. I liked our
project for the time that we had. We could have made it better and added a song, but I thought it was
good.
