The student visited three websites to find music and sounds for an OTS video: Freesound.org, Purple-Planet.com, and Zapsplat.com. Freesound.org contained high quality sounds but was missing some needed sounds. Purple-Planet.com was the most useful with a large collection of high quality tracks that could be used. Zapsplat.com had many categories of sounds but none suitable for the video. Diegetic sounds from the forest filming location like leaves and birds will be recorded to make the video more believable.

2. Music
 For the music research I have went to several
websites to find appropriate music and sounds for
the OTS. I have visited 3 different websites called:
 http://freesound.org/
 http://www.purple-planet.com/
 http://www.zapsplat.com/
 Each one of them was useful, however we ended up
only using two of them. The reason behind that is the
high quality and complimentary to our video.

3. http://freesound.org/
 This website was very useful as it contained a very
high quality of sound and had a very large variety of
different sounds. We managed to find some sound
which we then used in the video, however there
were some sounds which the website didn’t have.
 Overall we managed to find most of the sounds we
needed for our OTS, however we still needed to look
for some missing ones somewhere else.

4. http://www.purple-planet.com/
 The website purple planet was the most useful one
for our group as it contained a large amount of high
quality peaces which we are able to use in our OTS.
I have made a separate list of some of the peaces
which we can potentially use, and we will decide as
a group which ones are the most appropriate ones.

5. http://www.zapsplat.com/
 This website contained a large amount of different
categories which had different sounds within them,
however I was not able to find any sounds which
were suitable for our OTS

6. Diegetic music
 We plan to use some diegetic sound while filming as
it can make the MES more believable. We are filming
in a forest, there for things such as leaves rustling
and birds singing are expect. That why we plan to
film and use diegetic music.
 The area we will be filming in have planes flying
above it, there for when filming we will need to be
careful not to include plane noises so the sound is
clearer.
