1. If I was put into that situation I would feel a little uncomfortable. I would get more of an understanding of
what other races may go through on a daily basis. I think it is good that students especially be put in the
class to see what troubles and discrimination others are put through. It teaches the upcoming generation
that discrimination still exists, when we should be way past it. If the lady was in my face I would be a little
terrified by her constantly repeating herself and talking down to me. I think it was a little much that the girl
had a big fit over the class and the way the instructor was talking to the girl. It would be alarming to sit in
the class and be treated like that, but it's nothing to throw a tantrum about. The instructor made a great
point that people of a different race can't just walk out of discrimination and run from it. Every day people
are discriminated against and they just have to take it whether they like it or not. We should implement
more of these classes to take place to spread this kind of awareness and really settle into students how
big of an issue discrimination still is.
