1. Questionnaire:
After we decided to base our documentary on the recession we aimed to discovery what
our target audiences opinions were about the recession, whether or not it would appeal to
them and whether or not they liked the topic. To achieve this we created a questionnaire to
be completed in a short scale pilot study
The questionnaire combined with both open and closed questions where 20
questionnaire’s would be handed out to both male and females. We decided to use a
mixture of open and closed questions as some questions only required a direct ‘Yes or No’
answer where as other questions required detailed answers in order to gain a greater
understanding of what our target audience truly believed about the recession which will be
highly important as it allow us to produce correct information in our documentary which
is essential as it will attract to our target audience.
