drags attention to the two and makes them stand out over the rest of the page. The column is
separated into different categories so the reader can find what they are looking for within the
magazine. The target audience for this magazine would usually be young adults probably female
roughly 20 years old and over. You can tell this through the way that the categories are “fashion &
beauty” and “celeb”this are the stereo-typical topics that females would like to talk about.
3. The first thing you see on this page is the full page image of Fearne cotton this instantly links in with
the dominant image on the front of the magazine. Then on the other page it is the text, as you can
see they have “#companygrads” this links in with social networking (twitter) as too attract a wider
audience and help the audience to get involved. As you can see the text is also in one column as it is
on the contents page this links in with the house style of the magazine. The title of the content is in a
different font, size and is in bold in order to grip the reader’s attention so they know that’s what the
content is about.
