We are excited to announce the release of our new improved Slide Profile. We've made some improvements to your profile and
friends pages, as well as given you some additional privacy controls. You can still do all the things you've always been able to do,
but now they'll be even more fun.

The old profile is still available, on a temporary basis, while you are getting used to the new layout. If you prefer to use the original
Slide Profile, it is available by going to the quot;My Slidequot; page and clicking on the link in the green box to the right that says quot;To visit
your old profile page click here.quot;

How do I change my profile image using the new layout?
To change your default Slide Profile image, follow these steps:

1. Sign in at http://www.slide.com

2. Click on the image to the left of your name

3. Under 'Upload a new profile photo,' click on 'Browse'

4. Choose your image from the file selection window and press 'Open'

The image you selected will now be saved as your default Slide Profile image.


How do I create a new Slideshow in the new profile?
To create a Slideshow, please follow the steps below:


2. Hold your mouse over to the 'Create' link at the top of the page, right above your username

3. Select 'Create a Slideshow'

4. Begin by uploading photos by using the tabs on the left hand side. You can upload photos from your computer, import them
from MySpace, Flickr, Photobucket, or from some of your favorite websites!

5. You can also edit the images and change the look of the Slideshow by using the 'Customize' options on the right and
dragging and dropping the images into the order you want

6. Once you've got it looking the way you want, click on the 'Save' button

7. From there you can add it to a web site!


How do I create a new Guestbook in the new profile?
To create a Guestbook, please follow the steps below:



3. Select 'Create a Guestbook'

4. Enter your name, upload photos, add your location, and add a greeting

5. The location on your Guestbook will default to San Francisco if it doesn't recognize what you are entering. Try using your
postal code or the examples below:

6. Click on the Style, Skin, Theme, Approval, or the Size tab and choose new values

7. Click on 'Save' and you're done

How do I create a new Video (SkinFlix) in the new profile?
You can ad skins to YouTube videos at Slide.com. We call them SkinFlix. To create a SkinFlix, follow these steps:

4. Search for your video or enter the URL link to the actual video on youtube.com

5. Press 'Save' when you're done

If you would like to use your own video, you must upload it to YouTube first. For more information on adding your video to

How do I create a new FunPix in the new profile?
To create a FunPix, please follow the steps below:

4. Begin by uploading a photo from your computer

5. You may now add fun Glitter text, Stickers, Posters, Paint Eects, Themes, Skins, and Size

6. Once you've got it looking the way you want, click on the 'Save' button

7. From there you can add it to a web site or share it with your friends!


How do I edit existing content in the new profile?
To edit an existing Slideshow, Guestbook, Video (SkinFlix), or FunPix in the new Slide Profile, follow these steps:


2. Find the item you would like to edit from the list (you may need to click the 'MORE' button at the bottom of the page to see
more items)

3. Hover your mouse over the 'Options' link at the far right

4. Select the 'Edit' option from the list

5. You'll now be taken to a page where you will have various edit options

6. Press 'Save' when you are done

If the items is already posted on another website, there is no need to repost the code. We will automatically update it as soon as you
press 'Save' (with the exception of changes to the size, which requires the code to be updated where it has been posted).


How do I disable the Review feature in the new proﬁle?
To disable the Reviews menu feature on your Slideshows, please follow the steps below:


2. Click on the 'Settings' link located at the top right of the page next to your username

3. Disable Reviews by selecting 'No: Don't let people rate my stu

4. Your changes will be automatically applied to all of your Slideshows


How do I enable the Review feature in the new proﬁle?
You have the option to let people add a Review to your Slideshow! You must make your Slideshow Public and then enable 'Reviews'
for this feature to appear. Once those steps have been completed, people will be able to rate your Slideshow and leave comments.

If your Slideshow is set to Private here are the steps on how to change it to Public:


2. Hold your mouse over on the 'Options' link located on the right side next to the Slideshow you want to set to public

3. From the 'Options' menu, scroll down and choose 'Make Public'

4. A window will pop up saying 'Are you sure you want to make this public?'

5. Press the 'Ok' button

To enable the 'Reviews' feature in your Slide account (this will aect all of your Slideshows), please follow the steps below:


2. Click on the 'Settings' link located at the top right of the page next to your username

3. Enable 'Reviews' by selecting 'Yes: Let people rate my stu'

4. Your changes will be automatically applied to all of your Slideshows

How do I sign up?
If you came to Slide by clicking on someone else's Slideshow you'll be prompted to create a Slideshow. Once you click 'Save' you'll
have the option to create an account.

You can also register for an account by following these steps:

1. Go to http://www.slide.com

2. Click on the 'Not a member? Sign Up!' link under the 'Sign in' section to the right

3. Enter your email address and select a password

4. Click on 'Sign Up'

How do I create a Slideshow?
If you're a new user and you want to create a Slideshow, just follow these steps:

1. Go to http://www.slide.com/arrange

2. Use the tabs on the left side of the 'Add Photos From' section to upload images

My Files: Upload images from your computer by clicking on 'Browse'. Once you've selected an image click on 'Upload'.
Tip! Internet Explorer users can take advantage of our quot;Drag and Dropquot; bulk uploader. Once you've installed the ActiveX
control, drag images into the white box from your desktop. You can also click 'Select Images' to browser through folders
and upload images that way.
Friendster: Enter your Friendster URL (works with both groups and profiles) and click 'Get my photos'
Bebo: Enter your username and password for Bebo and click 'Get my photos' to import the images associated with your
account
MySpace: Enter your MySpace profile URL in the text field and click on 'Get my photos'
Tagged: Enter your Tagged email address and click 'Get my photos' to import the images associated with your account
Slide: Click on 'Get' to choose from your Hosted Images, Slideshows, or you can click 'All' to make one big Slideshow from
all images you've ever uploaded to Slide!
Photobucket*: Enter your username and password for Photobucket to import your albums. Select the album you'd like to
import images from, click on the image and click 'Paste Image'. Use the arrows near the top to toggle through the pages
in your album to find pictures to import
Facebook: Click 'Get' to sign into your Facebook account. Once you've signed in, you'll be able to select which albums you
want to import.
Flickr: Enter your Username and click 'OK'. You can then select which set you'd like to import from the drop down menu
Image URL: paste the URL of a photo hosted on any site into the space provided and click 'Link'. Tip: To find the Image
URL, right-mouse-click on an image, choose Properties, and copy the Image Address

Search: Enter a search term and click on 'Search' to import images from other Slideshows on our site related to your
search term
3. Use the options under 'Customize' to select a dierent style, skin, the theme, and set the privacy level

4. Under the 'Save' button, re-arrange or delete photos and add dierent colored captions

5. Once you've got your Slideshow looking the way you want, click on the 'Save' button

6. You can either automatically add your Slideshow to your profile or blog by selecting the site you want on the left, or you can
copy the code and add it to your personal website!

* Unfortunately Safari users can't use the 'Photobucket' tab. If you are on a Mac, you can us the Firefox browser to see this option.


How do I save my Slideshow?
If you've never created an account on our site, or if you're not logged in when you create your Slideshow, you'll be prompted to login
or register after you click on the green 'Save' button.


To share a Slideshow from the website, login to your account and access your 'My Slide' page. Click on the 'Share' link next to your
Slideshow, enter your friends email addresses, and they'll receive an email that will take them to your Slideshow.

How do I share my Slideshow with multiple friends?
To share a Slideshow with multiple friends, please follow the steps below:

1. Login to www.slide.com

2. Click on 'My Slide' at the top of the page

3. Click on 'Get Code' link on the right

4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on 'Share Slide Show' on the left side of the page

5. Enter your friend's email addresses, include a message if you want, and click 'Send'


Editing a Slideshow

To edit a Slideshow, please follow these steps:



3. Click on the 'Edit Add Photos' link next to the Slideshow you'd like to change

4. When you've finished making changes to your Slideshow, click on the green 'Save' button

5. You won't need to re-add the code to your profile, the Slideshow will automatically update with the changes you've made
after a few minutes

How can I prevent people from copying my Slideshow?
If your Slideshow is posted on a public website, there isn't much you can do to prevent people from copying it. This is true for any
multimedia, since people can just choose the quot;View Sourcequot; option in the browser and copy any code you have on your page.
However, there are a few things you can do to safeguard your Slideshow. First, mark it quot;Private.quot; There is an option to make each of
your Slideshows private. This will protect your images, so that people will be unable to copy them using the mouse's right click
button. This will also hide the link to the Slide Show from the quot;Menuquot; button, so people can't copy it. To make your Slide Show
private, follow these steps:



3. Click on the 'Edit Add Photos' link next to your Slideshow

4. Click on the 'Privacy' tab under the 'Customize' section

5. Under 'Who can watch this Slideshow?' use the drop down menu to select 'Private'

6. Once you've finished, click on the 'Save' button to save your changes

You must do this for each of your Slideshows that you want to be private. Also, if you want to test this, you must sign out of your
Slide account first. As the owner of the Slide Show, you always have full access to all the images.
Another way to prevent people from copying your Slideshow is to make your MySpace profile private. This way, only people you are
friends with will have access to your profile.
The best way to prevent people from copying your Slideshow is to NOT post it on a public website other than Slide.com AND to
mark it private. This will prevent anyone from seeing the Slideshow unless you explicitly quot;Sharequot; it with them.


How can I add a theme to my Slideshow?
When you're on the 'Edit Add Photos' page, click on the 'Themes!!' tab under the 'Customize' section. Click on the theme you
would like to add to your Slideshow and click on the green 'Save' button.


How can I re-arrange my photos in my Slideshow?
Once you've uploaded photos you'll see thumbnail images under the section that says 'DRAG to order photos. Or add some
captions'. Simply mouse over the picture you want to move, click and drag the image to the location you want. After a moment your
Slideshow will update to reflect your changes. Don't forget to click the green 'Save' button to make these changes permanent.


How do I select a dierent style?

Once you've uploaded photos you'll see a 'Styles!!' tab under the 'Customize' section. Select the style you'd like and after a moment
the Slideshow will switch to the Style you selected. Click the green 'Save' button to save your changes.


How can I delete a photo?
Scroll down to the 'DRAG to order photos. Or add some captions' section. On each image you'll see a little red 'X'. Click on that and
the image will disappear from the Slideshow.


How do I edit the captions under my photos?
Scroll down to the 'DRAG to order photos. Or add some captions' section. Under each photo you'll see a text box. Simply click in that
box and type in your caption. Make sure to click outside of the text box or click the 'Enter' key on your keyboard to get the caption
to update in the Slideshow preview.


How do I change the color and size of my captions?
While editing a Slideshow, you'll see an option under the 'DRAG to order photos. Or add some captions' section that says 'Captions'.
Here you can select how big you'd like your captions to be, what you want the text color to be, and the background color. Clicking
on the color box under 'Color' or 'Background' will bring up a color palette that you can use to select the color.


How can I change the size of my Slideshow?
To change the size of a Slideshow, please follow the steps below:


2. Click on 'My Slide' at the top

3. Click on the 'Edit Add Photos' link next to your Slideshow

4. Under the 'Customize' section, click on the 'Size' tab

5. Adjust the height and width of your Slideshow by clicking on the pre-set options, or you can manually change the size by
changing the number values within the 'Width' and 'Height' sections. If you want to make your 'Sliding' style Slideshow
vertical, simply select the vertical pre-set option, or make sure the number value to 'Height' is greater than the number value
for 'Width'

6. Click on 'Save' when you're ﬁnished


Is there an easy way to combine my Slideshows?
Yes, there is! To get started, please follow the steps below:



3. Click on 'Make a New Slideshow'

4. Click on the 'Slide' tab and click on 'Get'

5. To combine multiple Slideshows, click on them within this tab to copy the images over to your new Slideshow. You can also
click on 'All' to copy all the images currently in your account, included Hosted Images.

6. Customize you're Slideshow and click on 'Save'


Is there an easy way to look at all the images in a Slideshow?
Yes, there is! If you see a Slideshow posted to another site, click on the 'View All Images' button below the Slideshow. This will bring
up a page that will display the images in a Gallery view and you can also click on the thumbnails at the bottom to look at speciﬁc
images. The 'Play View all Images' option is also available on your 'My Slide' page.


How do I change the preview image for my Slideshow?
To change the preview image for your Slideshow, please follow these steps:



3. Under the 'Slideshows' tab, click on 'Play View all images'

4. Click on the image you want to make the default image for the Slideshow

5. You should be redirected to the image detail page. Under the image you'll see an option that says 'Set as my Slideshow photo'

Please note you will only see this option for images you've uploaded directly to Slide. If you've imported images from other sites
you won't be able to set those images as the preview image for your Slideshow.


I'm only able to upload one image from my Friendster profile. How can I import all of my images?
We currently don't have the ability to import images from private Friendster profiles. In order to import your images to a Slideshow,
you will need to have a public Friendster profile and configure your privacy settings to allow quot;photo grabbing.quot;
If you would like to import your Friendster pictures, please first make your profile public to North America by following the steps
below:


2. Click on 'Settings' (http://www.friendster.com/editaccount.php)

3. Check the 'North America' box under the 'Continent List' section

4. Now choose the 'Selected Continents' option next to 'Who can view my full profile'

5. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page

Now allow quot;photo grabbingquot; by following these steps:

1. Login to http://www.friendster.com/editaccount.php

2. Click on 'Settings' (http://www.friendster.com/editaccount.php)

3. Under 'Privacy Settings' select 'Yes' next to 'Allow photo grabbing' where is located towards the bottom of the page

4. Now choose the 'Selected Continents' option next to 'Who can view my full profile'

5. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page

Once your profile is public and you have enabled photo grabbing you can return to Slide.com to add your Friendster images to a
Slideshow.

I'm getting a message that says I don't have any photos in MySpace profile, but I do. How do I upload
my images from MySpace?
To upload images from MySpace directly to a Slideshow, follow these steps:


2. Click on quot;Make new Slideshowquot; or quot;Edit Add Photosquot; to an existing Slideshow

3. Click on the quot;MySpacequot; tab

4. Enter your MySpace URL and click on the quot;Getquot; button- your MySpace images will be added to the Slideshow

5. Under 'Privacy Settings', change 'Who Can View My Full Profile' to 'Anyone'

6. Make any other updates to the Slideshow you want and click quot;Savequot;

You won't need to re-add the code to your website; the Slideshow will be automatically update with the changes you've made after a
few minutes.


I'm having dificulty importing my images from Flickr. How can I import all of my images?
In order to retrieve images from Flickr to your Slideshow, please make sure you are not hidden from searches or blocking 3rd party
API calls, and that your sets are set to quot;publicquot;. To configure your privacy settings properly, please begin by signing into to your
Flickr account. Below are the sections you will need to review in order to ensure you can import your images to Slide.com:

Changing images from quot;privatequot; to quot;publicquot;:

1. Login to Flickr

2. Click on 'Organize' at the top

3. Use the options along the bottom to grab a group of images, or simply use the scroll bar and select the specific images you'd
like to change the privacy settings on

4. Once you've selected the images, click on 'Permissions' at the top and select 'Who can see, comment and tag?'

5. Select 'Anyone' and hit 'Change Permissions'

If your images are set to public, you'll need to change your account privacy settings by following the steps below:

1. Access your Privacy page

2. Click on the 'Edit' link next to quot;Hide your stu from public searchesquot;

3. Make sure the following options do not have a check mark next to them:

Hide your photostream from site-wide searches on flickr.com?
Hide your photostream from searches on 3rd party sites that use the API?
Hide me from searches?
4. Click on 'Save'

Once you complete these steps, you may return to Slide.com and create a Slideshow from your images hosted on Flickr.


How can I make my Slideshow play continuously on a loop?
You can make your Slideshow play continuously on a loop by disabling the pop-up menu feature. You must make your Slideshow
Private (*) and then disable the Comments and Ratings in your account.

To make your Slideshow private, follow these steps:


2. Click on quot;Edit Add Photosquot; next to your Slideshow

3. Click on the quot;Privacyquot; tab on the right side of the page


5. Choose quot;Private - Only visible to people you share withquot;

6. Press the quot;Savequot; button

To disable Ratings and Comments, follow these steps:

1. Click on the quot;Edit Settingsquot; link at the top of your quot;My Slidequot; page

2. Disable Ratings by selecting quot;No: Don't let people rate my stuquot;

3. Disable Comments by selecting quot;No: Don't let people comment on my stuquot;

4. Under the 'Customize' section, click on the 'Size' tab

Of course! Next to every song title there's a 'Listen' option that will play the first 30 seconds of the song. You're also welcome to add
the song to your Slideshow if you want to listen to the whole thing. If you don't like it, just click the 'Remove' link under 'Your
current pick' at the top of the 'Music' tab.

How do I make my song not play automatically?
To disable your song from playing automatically, please follow these steps:

1. Login to www.slide.com and click on 'My Slide' at the top

2. Click on 'Edit Add photos' next to your Slideshow


4. Uncheck the box next to 'Automatically play music in Show' at the bottom of the Music section

5. Click on 'Save'

Note that this does not work for music videos. The auto-play feature is only for audio only songs. Once you save your changes, you

Currently there are two kinds of music you can add to a Slideshow. Music videos or music without videos. The two dierent kinds
are identified on the music selection page. If an item is a music video, then the video component cannot be removed. You can select
music that is audio only by finding the selections that say quot;Listen.quot;

Note that you can choose any video you want, including any music videos that are hosted on YouTube.com. Due to this, you should
be able to find just about every artist or song you want to hear. You can find this music though our music search feature. To access
that, follow these steps:

Depending on the background layout of your profile, it may be dificult to see the 'x' box, or not see it at all. If this is the case,
please move your cursor over the top right-hand corner, just above the edge of the Slideshow and the 'x' box will then appear.


How do I turn my Facebook album into a Slideshow?
Now you can turn your albums on Facebook into cool Slideshows to display on your profile! To get started, just follow these steps:

1. Login to www.facebook.comand click on 'Applications' on the left

2. Click on 'Browse more applications' in the upper right hand corner

3. Under 'Search app', enter 'Slide'

4. Click on the Slide application to install

5. Once the application has been installed, you'll be taken to a page that displays all of your Facebook albums. Click on
'Customize Slideshow' to add cool eects like Music, Themes, Skins and Styles

6. Check the 'Show on Profile' box under the album you want to display on your Facebook profile

7. Show o your new Slideshow to your Facebook friends! Click on 'Share' in the upper right hand corner and type in the name
of the friends you'd like to send your Slideshow to.


How can I add a Slideshow into my Hi5 profile?
To automatically add a Slideshow to your Hi5 profile, please follow the steps below:

5. Enter your Hi5 login information (don't worry. We do not store your login information!), select the section you'd like to add
your Slideshow to, and click on the green 'Add; button

6. After a few moments, your Slideshow will start playing on your Hi5 page!



Please note that if you edit a Slideshow, FunPix, or Guestbook at Slide.com, there is no need to repost it to Hi5. Any changes you
make will automatically be reflected in your Hi5 profile as soon as you click on the quot;Savequot; button. To remove a Slideshow,
Guestbook, or FunPix from Hi5, you need to delete it from your Hi5 profile, not from your Slide.com account. If you delete it from
Slide.com and not your Hi5 profile, you will see a placeholder that says it is temporarily unavailable or that it has been deleted. I
may be able to retrieve your deleted Slideshows at Slide.com if you didn't want to permanently remove them from our website. Just
let me know and I'll try to locate them.

There are several places you can add a Slide Show in your Hi5 profile. Each location requires dierent steps to remove it. I will review
the three places below: Widget, About Me/Interests, and there are also some sections that Hi5 recently removed where your code
might still appear (Favorite Games, etc.).

To remove your Slideshow from your Hi5 profile on your widget section, please follow the steps below:

There are also a few sections where you may have added a Slideshow that Hi5 recently removed the edit section for. These include
the quot;Favorite Music Videoquot; and quot;Favorite Video Gamesquot; sections. If your Slideshow is displayed in one of these sections,
unfortunatley there is no way to remove it currently. You'll need to contact Hi5 and request that they add the edit pages for these
sections back to your account or to remove the Slideshow code for you

To add a Slideshow to your profile on Hyves.net, please follow the steps below:

There are two places you add a Slideshow to your eBay store. One (our recommendation) is in your store header. We recommend this
location because it is the easiest place to add a Slideshow and it will be seen no matter which of your eBay Store pages a buyer looks
at. Here are the steps to add a Slideshow to your store header:

8. From your My eBay page, click on 'Marketing Tools' on the left side of the page

Our Slideshows will work in any site that allows Flash Objects. If you're building your own site and using a page builder of some
sort, usually these applications have a 'Source code' or 'Edit HTML' section that you'll be able to paste the code into. You'll need to
refer to the help section for that particular web building application if you're unsure as to where this section is.

How do I login to my Slide account?
To login to your Slide account, go to www.slide.com. Enter the email address and password you used to register and click on 'Sign
In'.

If you forgot your password, go to www.slide.com and click on the 'Forgot Password?' link under the sign in area on the right. Enter
the email address you used to sign up, and we'll send you your username and a link that lets you set a new password.

Attention MSN and Hotmail members! If you don't see your password reminder email in your inbox, make sure to check your spam
folder. If this email does end up in your spam folder, simply move it back to your inbox. Keep in mind you won't be able to click on
any links within emails in your spam folder.


Does it cost anything to use Slide?
There are a few premium services that have a cost associated to them, but they are clearly labeled and require you to confirm you
are willing to pay before you can select them. However, we do not charge for the majority of content on the site, so feel free to
upload as many photos and create as many Slideshows as you want!


What is a personal Slide URL?
A personal Slide URL is like a personal address on our site. For instance, if you want to change your Slide URL to 'Max', your Slide
address will be http://max.slide.com. You can also use your Slide URL to sign in once you've selected one!

To choose a personal Slide URL, simply login to your Slide account and click on the 'Choose your personal Slide URL' link right above
your Slideshows tab. Enter your Slide URL into the text field and click on 'Submit'. Once you choose a new Slide URL you won't be
able to change it again, so make sure you choose carefully.


How do I change the email address associated with my account?
To change the email address that's associated with your account, please follow the steps below:

4. Add your new email address under the 'Email Addresses' section

5. A verification email will be set to the email address you entered. Click on the link within the email to verify your account

6. Once you've verified your email address, go back to the 'Edit Settings' page within your Slide account. Click on 'Set as Primary'
next to your new email address

7. At this point you'll have the option of deleting the other email address attached to your account


How do I change my display name?
To change your display name, just follow these steps:

If you have a bunch of Slideshows under your 'My Slide' section that you don't have posted on a site, then you can delete them by
logging into your Slide account and clicking on the trash can icon to the right of the Slideshow. Please keep in mind that if you need
to remove a Slideshow from another site, like MySpace or Hi5 you need to remove the Slideshow code from your account on that site
instead of deleting it from your 'My Slide' page.


What are Slide fans?
Slide fans are people who would like to be notified when you create new stu, like Slideshows.


What are Slide friends?
Being friends on Slide means that both you and your friend are notified each time you create new stu.


What's the dierence between Slide fans and Slide friends?
Being someone's fan means only that fan gets contacted when a member creates something. If you're someone's friend, you're both
contacted when you create something new. Here's an example.

Fans: Morgan is a fan of Tony. If Tony creates a new Slideshow, Morgan is notified. However Tony is not notified if Morgan creates a
new Slideshow.

Friends: Morgan and Tony are friends. They both get notified when they create new things on Slide.


How can I find out who my fans are?
You can find out who your fans are by following these steps:

How can I remove people from my fan list or add a fan as my friend?
Removing someone from your fans list means they won't get email notifications when you create new stu on our site. If you add a

To create a new Guestbook, please follow these steps:

3. Enter your name, location, upload a photo, and enter a personalized message

4. Under 'Customize' select the approval settings, select a size, skin, theme, and style

5. Click 'Save'

6. From here you can add your Guestbook to another site!


Is there an option to approve entries before they're visible on my Guestbook?
Yes, there is. This option is automatically set to have the owner of a Guestbook approve all entries before they appear publicly on
your Guestbook. We highly suggest turning this option on to avoid having inappropriate material being uploaded without your
consent.

To enable this option, please follow these steps:

3. Click on 'Edit Greeting Settings' next to your Guestbook

site your friends add an entry from; it will show up in your Guestbook on all of the sites you posted it to.


What are Guestbook styles?
Our Guestbooks now have cool styles, like 'Gallery' and 'Map'. If you select the 'Map' style, your Guestbook will display a pin on the
map next to your friend's picture. This style is great because it shows you where all your friends are on the map!

Why do I see Slideshows that I didn't create in my Slide Screensaver?
If you see Slideshows you know you didn't create in your Screensaver, you're more than likely seeing some of Slide's Featured
Slideshows. If you don't want to see these, that's ok! Just follow these steps to remove them from your Now Playing list:

1. Start the Slide Screensaver

2. Click on the 'Menu' button in the top-left

3. Click on 'Playlist'

4. You should see a list of your Slideshows. Click on the 'Remove from Playlist' button underneath any Slideshow to stop it from
playing

Can I get my Slide Screensaver to play when I'm ofline?
Because of how the Screensaver gets information to play your Slideshows, it doesn't work when you're ofline. The Screensaver
constantly checks Slide.com for updates to the Slideshows in your playlist.


Help! I downloaded the Slide Screensaver and I don't see any of my Slideshows!
If you don't see your Slideshows playing in the Slide Player, you may have downloaded it without being signed into your account. Not
to worry though! Just click on the Slide icon within your system tray and select 'Switch User'. A window will open to let you log into
your account.


Help! I cant get my Slide Screensaver to play!
This can be caused by a couple of things. First, if the Slide Screensaver doesn't launch, check to make sure it's set as your
Screensaver by following these steps:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select 'Properties'

2. Click on the 'Screen Saver' tab

3. Make sure the selected screen saver says 'SlideSS'

4. If it does, click 'OK'

If you don't see your Slideshows listed, you'll want to make sure you're signed into your account. To sign into your account, click on
the Slide icon in the lower right corner (or you system tray) and select 'Switch user'. Type in your email address and password and
within moments you should see your Slideshows playing within the Slide Player on your desktop.

And lastly, if you have an Internet Security Application, like Nortons Internet Security, ZoneAlarm, MacAfee, etc, it's possible this
application is blocking the Screensaver. Make sure that SlideSS.exe is listed as one of the allowed applications.


How do I disable the Slide Screensaver?
To disable the Slide Screensaver, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Windows 'Start' button

2. Choose 'Control Panel'

3. Double-click on the 'Display' icon

4. Click on the 'Screensaver' tab

5. On that tab is a 'Screensaver' drop-down menu with all your Screen Savers listed. You may either select a dierent screen
saver or choose '(None)'

6. Click 'Ok'

How do I remove the Slide application from my computer?
Keep in mind performing this action will remove the Screensaver and the Desktop application from your machine. To do this, just
follow these steps:

1. Make sure the Slide Program has been closed by accessing the task bar, right clicking on the Slide Icon and select 'Exit'

2. Access the Start Menu

3. Go to 'Settings'

4. Click on 'Control Panel'

5. Click on 'Add/Remove Programs'

6. Locate Slide on this list and click the 'Remove' button

7. Reboot your machine


What styles work with my screensaver?
There are three screensaver style choices you can choose from:

1. Collage

2. Gallery

3. Checker Styles

To change your style on your Slideshow, follow these steps:

1. When your Screensaver is playing, click on the 'Menu' button in the top-left corner

2. Click on the 'Customize' menu

3. Click on the style and theme you'd like.


Slide Skins

What's in it for me?
Good question. We don't pay you for your Skins, but it is possible that by submitting a Skin, you will receive your allotted ten
minutes of fame. We will attribute any featured Skins to its creator, with a link to that user's profile. On the other hand, it is possible
that your Skins will never be featured, or be seen by anyone other than your friends. Fame can be fickle.

Also, we ask that you give us certain rights, such as the right to modify, reproduce and distribute your Skins or any modified
versions of your Skins. The rights you give us are necessary to allow us to provide the Slide Service.

Finally, it is very important that you not use content in your Skins that belongs to someone else (copyrighted images, for example).
That would be bad, like crossing the streams.

Troubleshooting tips

I'm getting an automation error when I try to save my Slideshow. How can I fix this?
The error message you are receiving is caused by a missing file within your Internet Explorer. First, you'll want to reboot your
computer and try again. If that doesn't work this issue can usually be resolved by accessing the 'Run' option under your Start Menu
and entering the following:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

If that doesn't work you'll need to reinstall Internet Explorer. Or, you could download Firefox by clicking here

You won't have an option to upload multiple images with Firefox, but you can with the Slide Desktop application and Screensaver!
To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. If you haven't downloaded the Slide desktop application, login to www.slide.com and click on the 'Download Slide' link on
your 'My Slide' page

2. Once you've installed Slide, sign in to your account

3. Click on the 'S' icon in your system tray and you'll see the option to create a new Slideshow, or you can add these photos to a
Slideshow you've already created!

Why am I getting a quot;This is a private account. Please try anotherquot; message when I type in my
Friendster URL?
We currently don't have the ability to import images from private Friendster profiles. If you would like to import your Friendster
pictures, please first make your profile public by following the steps below:

1. 1. Login to www.friendster.com

2. Click on 'Edit Profile'

3. Click on 'Edit account'

4. Under 'Privacy Settings', change 'Who Can View My Full Profile' to 'Anyone'

5. Click 'Save'

Once your profile is public you can return to Slide.com to create your Slideshow.


Why are some of the images missing from my Slideshow?
This can be caused by a couple of things:

Are you using an AOL Browser?

You'll need to disable the graphics compression within your browser. Follow these steps to turn image compression o:

1. On the AOL toolbar, click the Settings icon

2. Click the Internet (Web) Options link

3. On the TopSpeed tab, under Web Graphics Compression, click Never compress graphics

4. Click the Save button

You can also use another browser, such as Firefox or Internet Explorer (non-AOL version).

Are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer?

Make sure your running the most recent version of Flash. To download the most up to date version of Flash, please click here

Are you importing images from Photobucket, MySpace, or another site?

If you're importing images from another site that aren't jpegs, they won't display in your Slideshow. We suggest these images be
downloaded to your computer, and then re-uploaded to our site directly from your hard drive.


Why do I only see code and not the Slideshow on my Friendster profile?
If you only see the code for your Slideshow in your Friendster profile and any of your friends' profiles, you probably have 'Safe Mode'
set to 'Yes'. If you enable the 'Safe Mode' setting, you won't see any html, media, or CSS in profiles. The 'Safe Mode' disables those
features.

To turn o 'Safe Mode' please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to friendster.com

2. Click on the 'Setting' link in the top right of any page

3. Scroll down to the Privacy section and you'll see 'Safe Mode'

4. Make sure it is set 'Safe Mode' to 'NO' and then click on 'Save' at the bottom of the page

5. Now you should be able to see Slideshows and other multimedia


Why am I getting an error message when I try to install the Slide application?
If you have Windows XP and you're getting an error message when you try to install the Slide application it's most likely you haven't

upgraded to Service pack 2. To install SP2, simply click on your Start Menu and select 'Windows Updates'. Installing all the
recommended software should include SP2. After that just restart your computer and try to install the Slide software again.


Why can't I login to my Slide account?
If you're unable to login to your account, the information below may help:

1. Your email address is your username. Make sure to use the email address you registered with

2. Make sure your caplocks if o, as the login ﬁeld is case sensitive.

3. Disable any proxy connections within your browser

4. Make sure you're using one the following browsers:

1. Internet Explorer 6.0 or above

2. FireFox 1.0.7 or above

3. Safari 2.0.3 or above

This can also happen if you don't have cookies enabled in your browser. To enable cookies in IE 7.0, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on 'Tools' in the upper right hand corner (next to the 'Cog' icon)

2. Click on the 'Privacy' tab

3. Click on 'Advanced'

4. Click on 'Override automatic cookie handling'

5. Make sure 'Accept' is selected for both First-Party cookies and Third-Party Cookies

6. Click on 'Ok'

7. Click on 'Ok' again

8. Close your browser and launch a new one

To enable cookies in AOL 9.0, please follow the steps below:

1. Click Settings at the top

2. Go to Browser Settings under 'B'

3. Click on 'Internet Explorer settings' on the far right

4. Click on the 'Privacy' tab

5. Click on 'Advanced'
