4. Benefits
Theater is an educational tool that is
generally undervalued in schools and is
often treated as something transversal
and is not given the importance it
deserves
Among all the benefits that the theater
can give us in the education of
adolescents we can find:
● Improved self-esteem and security
● Promotes self-knowledge of one's own
body and emotions
● Reinforces empathy and teamwork
● Promotes socialization
● Increases creativity
In addition, all of this has an impact on the
level of satisfaction and motivation of the
student and, therefore, favors learning
6. Activity 1. Warm-up
The group walks around the room filling the space, without going in a straight line
or in circles and we will give premises:
01
Every time we meet our classmate we have to look him/her in the eye
and smile at him/her
02
Every time we meet a classmate we have to say his/her name and
shake hands "Hello"
03
We should do the same every time we look at an object in the room
"Hello, chair", "Hello, table”
7. Activity 1. Warm-up

04
Now it should be the group who decides how fast to walk so that
when a classmate starts to go faster or slower we will follow him/her
Now the group will decide when to sit on the floor, stand up, walk
faster or slower or stop, in this way we will work on listening (the
whole group must move at the same time)
We will set 3 walking speeds (1) slow, 2) normal, 3) fast) and each
time the number is called, the group must walk at the correct speed
8. Activity 2. I introduce myself
We will divide the group into pairs and each
person in the pair will have one minute to
introduce him/herself to the other and tell
him/her about his/her life
Then, each pair must introduce themselves as if
they were the other person, remembering
everything the classmate has told them and, in
addition, imitating their gestures and way of
speaking
9. Activity 3. Random words
One person will be asked to say a random
word and the rest of the group will be asked
to say words that are related to or evoke
memories of the classmate's word
When everyone has said a word, they will be
asked to get together in teams of 3 or 4 to
make a short story
This story will have to do with all the words
mentioned above. The premises will be the
following:
1. Define the relationship between the
characters
2. Follow a simple start-climax-ending
structure
3. Use all the words that have been said
