While President of Entertainment for DAVE Networks, Los Angeles, CA (2006 – 2009), he led new business partnerships, multi-platform content and non scripted development, distribution and build out of an entertainment team. Through his relationships he secured clients MGM, Disney/ABC, CBS, Endemol, Fremantle and Vin di Bona Productions and was the 1st in the industry to create TV Show Branded video Social Communities. At Central National Media Group, Doug successfully launched national digital satellite/cable television channels, including a general entertainment channel, a 24-hour news channel and a premium movie channel; a national radio network comprised of 18 local radio stations and 3 newspapers. He negotiated studio program licenses and supervised 22 local productions. Doug designed and taught commercial practices to educate a multicultural management staff. The launch gala was held live before 2,000 people at the “Peoples Palace” with Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase. William Morris Agency recruited Doug for the position of COO to launch “Sorpresa TV” (2001-2002). 4. Doug’s achievements led to a permanent posting with SBS' special task force charged with launching, rebranding or growing specific channel operations. In 2000, Doug assumed the role of Senior Vice President Europe in the newly formed New Media division. He implemented corporate strategies, revitalized programming, shareholder representation and management of new media investments, partnerships with networks ,studios or production companies.
