Before the results of the investigation are discussed, some concepts are explained that form the framework of the discussion. Some previous studies
may serve as reference material in the interpretation of the findings. This section gives an overview of relevant literature on the topic of how cultural
values plays it role in business ethics as the case in ICT companies. Lots of works was published on the potential usefulness and development of
cultural values. However few sources can be found that tackle this topic in the ICT domain.
Based on 15 articles that we have reviewed we have found out several patterns that can be further discussed throughout this study. Among the issue
highlighted by those literatures is the influence of company culture with the company performance in terms of customer satisfaction and preferences.

by this is that people normally think of doing good deeds, or giving to the disadvantaged as the typical form of ethics. What generally eludes most
people, is ethics in the form of selecting between better or best. A great example can be in movies, where a superhero will be required to save one

When deciding what to do in certain situations, ethics is what guides an individual to act in a way that is good, or right. Those involved in business
settings apply ethics to business situations, known as business ethics. It is expected of businesses, small and large, to follow business ethics. There is
a particular framework businesses are to follow. However, the reoccurring news headlines of poorbusiness ethics prove differently. Poor businessethics
include bribery, corporate accounting scandals, and environmental issues. Business ethics does not provide a list of correct ethical business decisions;
rather, it reflects a standard of business to improve decisions. Often times unethical situations will result from choosing the first option without further
review or the option that enhances a business in the short run (Kubasek et al. 20). In order to avoid costly, unethical decisions, businesses strive to
follow guidelines called the WPH process of ethical decisions making. This is a set of criteria that managerial decisions must meet: decisions affect
stakeholder, decisions are made for a particular purpose, and decisions must provide achievable guidelines about how to make ethical decisions

Among the major business ethics related theories there is Friedman's, developed in the 1970s in the US (Harrison, 2010, pp. 186–187). The following
quote from Friedman's thesis, sums up his general view of the social responsibility businesses have in society: "There is one and only one social
responsibility of business – to use its resources (...) to increase its profits so long as it stays within the rules of the game, (...) engages in open and free
competition without deception or fraud." (Horrigan, 2010, p.92) Friedman's thesis was simple and is still relevant to today, simply that businesses
should act in order to increase their profit as they are meant to but without fraudulent behaviour, respecting the rules of the social contract. Deriving
from Friedman's thesis there is 'Corporate Social Responsibility' (CSR), which simply states that businesses should be "taking responsibility for the
economic, social, ethical, and environmental impacts of its activities". An increasing number of companies have adopted CSR policies, in an attempt to
help their community as well as diminishing to some extent certain negative impacts they could be causing e.g. pollution. (Harrison, 2010,
pp.191–193) The importance of ethics for society and business alike is self explanatory, it simply stands to ensure behaviour which is both correct and

recently in February 2013, case of embarrassment came from its food service where it was found the "Swedish Meatballs" it served contained
horsemeat. Corruption and bribery case in Russia was an awakening experience for IKEA. In 2010, its top two managers were fired due to bribery
of contractors to provide electricity power supply generators to its stores to avoid power shortage. Knowingly it allowed payments of bribery to
secure electricity supply, which was a blow to its reputation as ethical business practice around the world. However, it is often understood bribery and
