This document provides critical analysis questions about political philosophy concepts and theorists to stimulate thought and examine course concepts from new perspectives. Students are asked to write 500-800 word responses comparing John Locke and John Rawls' views on equality and inequality, specifically how Locke discusses economic inequality being acceptable if there is equality of opportunity, and how this compares to Rawls' discussion. Students are also asked to briefly explain John Rawls' concept of "comprehensive doctrines," which he argues are a source of conflict, and provide one example.
