As expats. the constant changes do bring some uncertainty in our life and may feel fully grounded in current place,
The underlying instability might shake us when the stress comes strong
milestones—you need to complete or reach certain status by a certain age.
But, although not many parents have good knowledge about developmental milestones of children, they know “very well” about the societal milestones—when you need to get married, to have a child, to have a car and to buy a house.
It seems that every big life decision has one set of time table.
Some of us or maybe each of us run into the mid-life crisis. What am I running for? Why do I keep doing so? Where is I?
Some people may say that’s life. Yes, it is life.
Every one’s life has up and down, has the moment we are very sure that’s what we want and the moment we don’t know what to cho0se.
The life is full of uncertainty and the crisis may come from somewhere you never expect, like coronavirus this year.
Sometimes its hard for people to stand along, to face and manage difficulties on their own.
Thus, we need to support, supportive resources to back up us, to hold us, to stabilize us, or to go through the challenges with us.
When you fee stressed or upset or very down. you feel comfortable to be your true self. Or ask for help.
you do feel good, calm, relaxed or re-charged, re0connect to yourself after you do these activities. It may be your hobbies or regular exercise or special treat for yourself. The point is that you don’t have negative feelings or might get youself into trouble in the long-run when you do it. Some people go shopping, gambling, sex, smoke , drink and so on, but it hurt your or your loved one by the end.
Its not uncommon that we need to respond and take action in a very short time on our daily lives. We have no time to listen carefully what’s going on. We receive, we react just within one second. We do it to our child, to our partner, to our colleagues, and to ourselves.
