•Doing the suggested homework
•Asking questions when you have them
•Respecting “Murphy’s Law” and not waiting until the last
minute
Suggested homework means you do it…but I don’t have to
grade it!

•Newest, hippest, gotta-have-it gadget off and
put away
Let the outside world do its thing for the
next two hours while we do our thing…

5. …your course grade drops on average 2 to 3
points per absence…that’s in addition to
missing assignments, etc.
Note that “being in class” means being
mentally here as well as physically here.

•Keep my promises and hand stuff back when I say I
will – no surprises or excuses
