2. 41306751102360479493432Point vs Side shading. Draw two boxes, in one use the point of HB or 2B pencil to shade dark at the top to light at the bottom. Make sure to label the box you shade with your pencil point and the one you shade with your pencil side.

3. Scumbling or Circular Value. Draw a box, and scumble your value dark at the top to light at the bottom.

4. 3896995200025479493-649Line Weight. Make box, and create highlights using line pressure – dark on the sides, light in the middle.

5. Make two of the following Graduated Boxes to the right. Vary the light to dark of the different shapes within the box like in the power point from class.

6. Make a Value Sphere using cross-contour shading, scumbling, line pressure, point shading, and/or line shading. Make it the most beautiful one yet!
