The FAQ’s with regards to the issues that you may come across on the day of the test is
provided below, request you to kindly go through the same and confirm back.

1. Possible JavaScript issues.
(Will Check JavaScript before we start the exam)

2. Is there an Auto-save option?
Yes. The auto save option is available on every Next (after every 2 questions).

3. Who will do the Batch allocation?
Batch allocation will be done by Syntel and Monster.

4. What will happen if a student comes in Late?
Late -Comers will get only that much time which is left till the batch end. We will not be
able to provide additional time for them.

5. Can a student revisit the test once Submitted?
No. The student will not be able to revisit the test once he has submitted it.

6. Will there be a possibility of rescheduling if the whole college doesn’t take the
test?
No. If the whole college has not been able to take the test we will not be able to
reschedule the test only for you. You will be required to contact Syntel for further
process.

7. Will the student who is registered allowed to take the test in a different batch
other than the one provided to him?
No. A candidate can take the test only in the time slot allocated to him / her.

8. What will happen if there is browser crash and Operating System crash
management?
In such cases, the candidate will be able to start the exam from the last saved answer.

9. What will be the time gap between two batches?
The time gap between 2 batches taking the tests will be 30 minutes.

Scenario 1
User access the portal, receive the instructions page and click "login" button to log's in to
the exam Portal, with the login password provided.

Conditions and flow sequence:
a. The colleges will be provided with the start and end time. If a particular batch like 9 -
10:15 starts at 9:00 for college A. The same batch may start at 9:05 for college B. The
colleges have to strictly follow the time schedule allocated to them. As a user from
college B will only be allowed to login on or after 9:05 not before that.
b. There will be 7 batches in a day. The candidates will be divided accordingly.

c. User log's in at the time slot provided to him. The exam duration is for 45 mins, and
the batch time is of 75 mins and if the user logs in with even few minutes remaining for
the batch ending. He will be allowed to give test but for the amount of time remaining for
the batch.

d. After 45 mins or when batch time ends, user will get logout. He can't further logs in.

e. If the user missed the test of particular batch, a rescheduling of the candidate can be
done to the batch in the end of the day. No rescheduling of competed or partially
attempted test.

Scenario 2
User gets logs in and starts the test.

Conditions and flow sequence:
a. User will receive 2 question in one sequence, there will be a "save and next" button to
save the answers and move to the next sequence of questions.

b. In between the test the user will be asked 3 secret questions. Answers will be stored in
DB.

c. After 45 mins or when batch time ends, user will get logout. He can't further logs in.

Scenario 3
Issue with logged on user (window crash, system shut down,). User re-log’s into system
after startup Conditions and flow sequence:

a. User will be sent to the screen after last saved answers.

b. Time limit will be same as discussed earlier. Timer will restart from the point last
answer were saved for the user.

FAQ test issues day exam provided
