My Best Friend Essay
The last time I saw my best friend was definitely a time I would never forget. It was the best yet
worst day of my life. Yet It taught me that letting go isn't always the best thing, but can change
you as a person. Summer vacation had just started. When school ended, I went away for a week
for my first travel. Nina however, was staying in Moscow, attending a tennis camp for a week.
During that week that we didn't constantly talk to each other, which was just a small glimpse of
what the future had in store for us. Coming back to Moscow from that incredibly long week. I
was very eager to see her once again. Unfortunately, I had to wait a while, because tennis camp
only ended a few days after I came back. The feeling of being in the same place as your best friend
but not being able to see her was torture. Every day that came closer to when I would see her was
exciting, yet terrifying at the same time. I knew that this would be a day that I would definitely not
foget. I remember seeing her, how my heart lifted, hearing her voice again, I was the happiest
person. We planned the whole day. Our first destination was Nebo, a trampoline park. On the way
there, with Moscow's unusual weather, it was pouring. By pouring I mean the cars were
swimming. When we got out of the car we were running around the streets. Drenched in water, as we
entered the park. Walking into the building, seeing the receptionists reaction was hilarious. Mocking
their faces of disgust. The whole time the two of

My Best Friend
Have you ever had someone in your life who helped you figure out who you were? Someone who
showed you the right path. Someone who was there right next you even if you did not take that
path. Someone who always seemed to be right, but never held it against you when you were not.
Someone whom without your life would most likely be entirely different. I have. Her name was
Jessica. Jessica was more than my neighbor. She was more than my mentor. She was my best friend.
Jessica lived three houses down from me when I moved into a new neighborhood. She made moving
to a new neighborhood a lot easier. She was one of those people who was friends with everybody.
She was friends with everyone because she was so special....show more content...
She would listen to you. She would be your friend, even if she just met you. I can not remember a
time when she had something unpleasant to say about someone. That was one of many valuable
lessons I learned from her and have made apart of my life.
She seemed to know everything. Anytime I had a perplexing question I knew she would know
what to tell me. Her wisdom spanned several subjects. Everything from the textbook things they
wanted me to learn in school, to the life lessons that there are no textbooks for. She taught me by
example. She showed me that it was just a waste of my time and energy getting mad, upset, angry
or so irate that I allowed myself to be controlled by my emotions. She was always calm, patient, and
even tempered when faced with people who were less than pleasant to be around. I learned from
watching her deal with people that being nice never fails. And I learned from watching her deal
with the situations life would present that as long as you gave everything you had to give and never
quit, you could never be beat.
Jessica was a truly amazing friend. She was a true friend. I could always depend on her being
there for me with the right words of advice. Even if I did not want to hear what she was saying.
She had been exactly where I was and she knew how perilous the journey of adolescence could be.
She informed and guided me in my choices. Yet she never forced anything on me. My

Celebrate Life
We all have someone or something that we love more than anything. For me, it was my dog, Madix.
Madix was my best friend, he was the ray of sunshine in my life.
"Bye Madix," I said lovingly. I kissed his soft black fur and walked out of the door.
As I hiked down the long ramp I heard my brother, Colby, laughing behind me. "Look Meaghan,"
Colby said dangling a small bacon treat above Madix's head, "I couldn't find his leash, so I made
him follow a treat." Madix jumped with his short legs to try and reach it. Across the street I
spotted two small, bushy tailed squirrels chasing each other around a tree. I looked from the
squirrels to Madix and back again. Before I could move a muscle Madix had darted towards the

I felt his heart beating rapidly.
"Colby!" I yelled excitedly, "His heart is still beating!"
"Mom, his heart is still beating!" I heard Colby say.
"Mom said to take him to the vet, they are on their way home." Colby said, putting his phone in his
pocket.
I jumped up, still holding Madix like a baby. I had stopped crying, for the time being. Colby and I
jumped into the car and took off, avoiding the lady in the SUV, and my grandpa behind us.
The usually short seven minute drive to the vet seemed like an eternity. As we were driving there
was a horrible stench, it smelled like one of Madix's farts. Colby and I both knew it was the dog, but
neither one of us said anything. I began crying again as I thought of what I would do if Madix was
dead.
Colby had not worried about parking inside the lines, we both jumped out and rushed into the vet's
office.
"Our dog just got hit by a car." Colby said with a tremble in his voice. A veterinarian hurried out
from the back and took Madix's lifeless body out of my arms. His head flopped from my chest to
hers.
As I sat in the waiting area I began sobbing. An older lady with grey hair, sitting in the waiting area
with her cat noticed.
She walked over to me, "Can I pray over you and..." she paused, waiting for me to tell her Madix's
name.
"Madix." I said looking at her wrinkly face.
She smiled and placed her hand on my head.
"Dear Lord," She began, "Please watch over this young girl and Madix. Help her to

Personal Narrative Essay : My Best Friend
I'm Kellie Clarkson I have an amazing life, ok I had meant to say. I had a best friend, family, friends,
and even my own killer ha–ha, but I don't have anyone now because of October 13th the night
everything went away. I hope you're not like everyone else and think I'm berserk just sit back and
enjoy as I tell you about my berserk life.
It all started when I tumbled out of bed I looked out my window to a stranger staring at me, I
rubbed my eyes and he dissolved into the morning horizon so I thought I was seeing ominous
creatures and carried on with my day. I got ready for school and went downstairs kissed my mother
wonderful morning and embraced my father then my amazing little brother was next, I picked him
up like it was my first time...show more content...
The bell rang again and we all went back to class the rest of the school day went by and honestly, I
thought I was insane, I keep witnessing the same guy in all black I saw this morning.
At the end of the day we meet at my car and I took everyone home when I finally got home and was
getting ready for the party I got into the shower, and every time I closed my eyes I saw the same guy
in all black. I don't know who he is, so I talked to my mother about him I said "Mother do we have
any new neighbors" She said "No way honey" I told her about the guy I've been seeing and she
said "I'll call the police and talk to them about it" and she did. They said they patrolled the area and
to just stay at home tonight don't leave my house and to keep everything locked.
I was a half–witted teen and didn't listen I snuck out of my room and meet everyone at the party I
didn't spot anyone or anything until around 1 A.M the party was just ending and then someone
came and started holding everyone hostage. So I ran and hide in Jace's bedroom as I heard gunshots
I started crying and then I almost lost my mind when I hear footsteps coming closer and closer to
Jace's room but instead turned into another room. I ran out of Jace's room so fast when I walked
downstairs, I cried as I spot all my friend's dead their faces so pale I still had my keys so I sprinted
for my car as I got in it I locked all my doors and started it up. That's when the guy in all

I wanted to let you know that I am okay. My world didn't collapse when you changed you mind.
You were probably the first boy I truly ever liked. For some reason, I felt very connected to you,
like I could tell you anything and everything and really open up to you which is something that
has always been hard for me with anyone, but I took a chance and did it. You were my best
friend, and I cared a lot about you, sometimes you said it seemed like I cared to much, but part of
me feels as though you just weren't used to someone truly caring about you. I remember so
clearly the first night you told me you liked me. I remember the feeling I got. My heart started to
beat fast, I got hot and I couldn't stop grinning, but there was also doubt and fear. Doubt that a
boy like you could like me, and I think that was my first mistake. I remember the fear taking over
and thinking that you were going to turn around and say, "just kidding". I remember that I didn't
know how to respond with all these mixed emotions and thoughts going through my head and
heart so I just sat there for like 10 minutes just thinking about what had just happened, and after I
collected myself I admitted to you that I had liked you for a while. Than two days later I felt my
heart shatter for the first time ever as I sat on my couch. As I sat there I tried to pretend that it
didn't matter to me that you had said "I'm sorry I made a mistake and realize I don't feel that way
about you and I won't ever let it happen

Personal Narrative: Goodbye My Best Friend Essay
Goodbye It is amazing how many things we take for granted. We make plans for the day, and don't
think twice about how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. I never thought much
about it myself, until I was faced with the shock, and undeniable truth of my cousin's death. I don't
think anyone really thinks about tragedy until they are actually faced with shocking news.
It was a bright and warm summer morning when I woke from a good night sleep. Nothing prepared
me for the dark, gloomy and sad day ahead of me. You see, this was the day that my cousin and
childhood best friend passed away in an auto accident. Bright, intelligent, loving and caring 16 year
old, these are words to describe her but let me to you how I...show more content...
We didn't need a reason to visit we were best friends. The thing you should know about her is: She
loved God, family and friends. She loved anything about John Deere. She adored Kids, (Lead a
youth class at church). She lived for cheering and did it to perfection. She had a zest for life.
Whatever she was doing, she gave it 110%.
Around the age of 10, we started getting very involved with school sports. She lived in
Byrdstown and found her gift which was cheering, of course mine was Basketball. As time went
on, we only got to see each other at basketball games and special occasions. But, we always knew
that we would be best friends forever. On June 18th 2006, I lost my cousin to a freak auto
accident. The Papers read Auto accident claims local teen. The only thing I know was that
childhood best friend was gone. I could never run up and hug her at the basketball game. I could
never get to see or talk to her at the reunions or any other family get togethers. We had many
experiences together as I said before. One I remember most is when we always met and went to
Obey River in Pickett county. We went all through the summer, we always knew what out plans
were going to turn out to be. We would start by always playing in the water while our parents would
get the cookout stuff together. We enjoyed every minute we spent together. She is gone but she would
want everyone to life to the fullest. Don't take anything or anyone for

Personal Narrative Essay : My Best Friend
My best friend is always there when I need her the most, has my back when times get rough, and I
can always tell her my deepest darkest secrets. My best friend's name is Tea Elaine Valentine. We
have been best friends for nine years and counting. We met in the third grade. I was introduced to
Tea by another friend of mine. She thought I was weird at first, but as she got to know me we
have been best friends ever since. Tea and I are two different people. Tea is more of the
outspoken, no filter, and whatever comes to mind is said. I'm more of the quiet and laid back. I
have learned many things from Tea like learning how to speak up for myself, never to let anyone
walk all over me, and it is okay to say how you feel. Are friendships have stayed strong this many
years because of our loyalty, listening ear, and always being there for each other. From third
grade to sixth grade Tea and I were stuck together like glue. Every day after school we would call
each other on the house phone and we would talk for hours. When it was time for the weekend I
was always at her house or she was at my house to spend the night. My after school routine was
the same as always but this phone conversation started off different. "I have something to tell
you," Tea said."Yes?" I replied. She said "I'm moving to Big Rapids next year" . After hearing this
news I was so devastated. I felt like I was losing my best friend. She was only moving three hours
away, I felt like she was moving across the

Friends will come and go like the leaves of a breezy fall day. But some stick around even on the
worst days. As the lights beam down on me at a Shippensburg soccer game with my best friend
Izzy, a thought crossed my mind. What if we had never met? All of our memorable adventures we
experienced together. Like Black Friday Shopping, Hersheypark, Sky Zone, and our trip to
Baltimore together would have never happened. So I'm taken back to that wildcard day in third
grade when I met Isabel Soliday. It was a breezy October day, school had started to get into the
swing. I was in third grade at the time. Since I was the youngest in my building, I was feeling like
a weed in a forest full of tree's. At the time school was lonely, none of my friends had even one
class with me, and in their free time, they were playing with there new friends. Little did I know,
that day I would meet one of my best friends to this day. I don't know what we were working on, but
I do remember we picked sticks to determine our partners. Sticking my hand in the cold metal tin, I
reached in and picked the number twenty–two. As Mrs. Keenan called the number, I looked into the
crowd of kids to see a blonde freckled girl standing there.
After everyone was done picking their partners, we found a seat at the front of the room on the soft,
brown, but worn carpet. As we worked, we talked quietly, until we had so much passion for the
subject our voices carried to others.
After class was over, we

"That shirt makes your stomach pop out." "We need to find something to do. I am so bored."
"I'm coming over and I want food." These are all things we've heard a time or two from our
friends. It seems like we all know a friend that says something along those lines every time we see
them. They may be different people but it always feels like they think the same. These friends we
have always seem to have even the smallest of quirks to make us able to categorize them. Some
may be in multiple categories or they might strictly only be one category. There are three friends
in everyone's lives that we all love: The Best Friend, The Brutally Honest, and The Adventurer.
The Best Friends are the friend who are always be there. They are the best wingman, they are loyal,
and they are the type to never let you down. See, the best friend will always know when to step back
and give you center stage. My best friend is a perfect example of that. This kid has literally given up
his house for a guy who was in need of some help. It was a night that I went over to a friends that I
didn't hang out with much and we ended up getting yelled at by his dad so I had to leave. My first
thought was "I don't want to go home yet." It was probably around two in the morning when I
called my friend. You will immediately know if someone is your best friend if you call them that
early in the morning. My phone probably rang once and he picked up. I told him what had
happened and asked him what to do. He told me,

Personal Essay : My Sister, My Best Friend
Out of anyone in my life, my sister is truly the person I respect and look up the most We have had
our ups and downs but she is always there for me when I need her and I am always there for her
when I can be. She's my sister, best friend but most importantly my twin sister. She's the one I
grew up with, the one that's always there for me. We have a bond that nobody or anything could
break. As close as we are today I can say I would be completely lost without her.
My sister and I have moments where we both feel weird whenever we are not around each other
because as I twin we feel like we can't be separate for one minute. Either of both of us will start
missing each other like crazy. And that is just a thing her and me have. And when it comes to
missing my sister I get crazy because I just can't be with anybody else but her. And I mean it
because I will start, texting her, calling her, I will do anything to be together every day. But having
a conversation is important when it comes not talking to each other. According to Albert's he once
said: " Conversation plays, an important role in friendship as well." (Albert's, p.190). Having a
conversation to one each other it is really important because you will know what the person is feeling
today or tomorrow, it is a good thing that people communicate because is simply the act of
transferring information from one place to another.
However, as grown women's we are, it is time to face reality we will have to separate each other one

Friendship Essay : My Best Friend
A friend is someone that you trust and you enjoy spending time with. Everyone needs a friend
because without friend life would be boring. Friends are important because they boost your
happiness and reduce your stress. Friends are easy to find but a best friend is very hard to find.
Best Friends are very important because they increase your self–confidence, you can share secrets,
unlimited laughter, and adventures. To have a best friend you do not have to know them for a long
time you just have to feel comfortable around them and trust them.
One of my best friends name is Pawornwan but I call her Bam. she only lets certain people call her
Bam like her friends or family. I met Bam my freshmen year of high school she was new to the
school and was also a freshman. The first time I saw her was in our English class she did not
speak much English but whenever I would talk to her I would understand her by her movement
of hands when she didn't know a word. She didn't talk a lot when we were with my old friend but
when she was just with me she would talk more. When I left my old friend group I would only say
hi or have a small conversation when I would see her in the hallway. Junior year we ended up having
a class together so we decided to be friends again. Now we are very close more than we were when
we were freshman. She talks more and is more outgoing. I know more about her know then when I
did the first time I was friends with her. She is Thai and I'm Mexican American so we don't have a
ton of things in common. I love having a friend from a different culture because I love learning new
things about her culture and the things that they believe in. For example, she says that whoever
gets the last bit of the food gets a handsome husband. Some of her believes are funny because we
don't have them in my culture. We all need a friend that makes us forget to check the time because
we are having a marvelous time.
My best friend Ruby is like my sister. We first meet in sixth grade and we became friends but
when we were in seventh grade we stopped hanging out because we both started hanging out with
other people. We still said hi when we would see each other but it wasn't the same. Then we had a
yoga class together our

My Cousin Is My Best Friend
Some people don't even know their cousins or they don't talk to them at all. That is not the case for
me. My cousin is my best friend. She has been my best friend since I was little. She is a big part of
my life and I can tell her everything. We lived down the road from each other for many years and
we would be together all the time. We were inseparable and we still are today. My cousin, Brie
Pulczinski, is a big influence on my life. She is 19 years old and she lives in West Fargo, so not too
far away. Some cousins look alike somewhat but Brie and I do not look alike at all. Brie has dark
brown hair–almost black. We are about the same height. Brie has a great personality, there are so
many reasons to love her. She is someone I can look up to and always go to for advice. Also, it
seems like a lot of stuff doesn't get her down and if she is down she is not a person to constantly
complain about it. We may be five years apart in age but when we are together none of that
matters. Brie and I are alike in so many ways. There are so many memories we have together;
some good, some bad but I wouldn't trade them for the world. I'm not going to lie, when we were
younger we were trouble makers. Brie was not a very good influence when we were younger. Her
and her brother Chase would always try to make me do stuff to get me in trouble. When I was
younger, they were the older kids and I always wanted to be cool just like them. So, I did literally
everything they told me to do. Which

Meeting My Best Friend Essay
There is nothing in life that can compare to meeting your other half. Meeting my best friend was
definitely a life changing event in the best way. She is the most loyal and absolutely the most
trustworthy long–term friendships that I have ever experienced. I have been given the opportunity
in life to come face to face with my best friend, she has changed my life in various ways. No one
that I have met can compete with how well her and I mix. Like peanut butter and jelly, we are
good alone but better together. Through thick and thin my best friend and I have lasted 8 going 9
years, and I know that there will be more to come.
My best friends' name is Maria Carvallo, she is without a doubt my go to. We met in 7th grade at
Glades Middle...show more content...
To this day Maria is my ride or die, we kept growing up and when my father got me a car for my
birthday it became even better. We both see each other almost every week and hang out to eat,
shop, or simply go over each others house. We both have so many similarities in our lives and
personalities, we definitely never take that for granted. She has persistently gotten me through all
of my rough patches, with that being said, every time we talk she knew what I need to hear to get
me through or get ahead of it in life. Nonetheless, we are very alike, but we still obviously have
our differences, yet I admire how we will always cooperate and try to imagine and picture
ourselves in the other person's position. She always gives me her best friend and at the same time
her motherly advice. She is kind hearted, but is not afraid to rip the bandage when needed. We both
gossip and laugh about everything! Our conversations can go on for the longest time. There is
nothing but love to the fact that we will manage our time for each other even if our schedules are a
little hassled.
On top of that, maturing in life is very important to me. I never want to have a friend that doesn't
grow. I confront everything life throws at my direction. Weirdly, with all of the struggles Maria and
I have had together, it has definitely helped us mature together in life. To this day I couldn't be more
grateful to the fact that we both

My Day With My Best Friend
After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the
first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that
signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so
courteous to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was
out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting Katherine's Dad outside of school.
"Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply
resumed his talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had
no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and looked out the window. The whole car
ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my
5th grade math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept
her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly with her dad. We arrived at our
destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday
afternoon, most likely because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayВґs.So
many things were happening at the same time in the same room where Katherine's dad left us.
There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables
with roses, string, markers, all scattered up.

The Death Of My Best Friend Essay
Grief Reflection Grief is a natural thing that everyone will experience in some way or another.
Everyone experiences and handles grief in different ways. I have experienced grief a couple of times
in my life when my grandfather passed away, my best friend passed away, and when my dad left
and each time I handled my grief in a different way. I'm going to focus my essay on the death of
my best friend because it was the most recent and had the biggest impact on me. My best friend
passed away last year when he was hit by a drunk driver. This really had an impact on me because
he was my emotional support, my go to, my everything. Recovering after his death was a really
long process and at times I feel like I am still not fully healed from it. There are five stages in
grief, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. I followed these 5 steps in the order
they are listed. After Hunter got hit his mom called me to go to the hospital and say goodbye.
When she called I couldn't believe it. I was shaking and numb. The ride to the hospital seemed
like it took hours. I don 't even remember walking into the hospital or the doctors talking to me.
When I walked into the ICU room I was expecting to see Hunter all cheerful and happy and this all
be a cruel joke, but he wasn't. Five minutes after I said my goodbyes to him he passed away. I
remember everyone asking me how I felt and I honestly couldn 't even comprehend how I felt
because I hadn't even comprehend that he was gone,

Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of
school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had
no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your
name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch
so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was
like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly
we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand
new ones with her. She is amazing and I see perfection in her even though she disagrees i don't
care she is perfect in my eyes and i will always be there for her I don't care what happens between
us and i just wanna say thank you and i love you best friend! My Runaway! Hot air, windy breeze,
beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the
overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our
adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy
and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very
casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus.

My Friend Essay
When I was ten or eleven years old I was just like any other average girl in my school, except I was
particularly rude and mean to my friends. Friends are people you confide in, people you go to
when your feeling down, people you're the happiest with but for my friends it was just the
opposite. One day at school one of my friends had cut her hair and came to school feeling really
self–conscious about her hair. As a friend you're supposed to comfort and compliment your friend
so they don't feel so bad but no when she came to school I made her feel even worse, "Why did you
cut your hair? You look so much uglier than before!", I said to her. On another day a different
friend of mine's grandmother died and she was completely heartbroken. Her eyes were as red as
blood, the river of tears was drowning her face and they just wouldn't stop. You could hear her trying
to hold back her sobs like she had been holding them in for years. You could hear in her voice she
was grief–stricken, she cried everyday and as a friend you would think that I would comfort her,
tell her everything was going to be ok and hug her as long as she needed me to. No, when she
came crying to me I told her, "You're such a cry baby just because your grandma died doesn't
mean you have to cry every day!" I've said all of these things and many more to my "friends". I've
put them down, spread gossip about them, and was just down right mean to them. The things that
I've said to them were borderline bullying. I

I Met My Best Friend
For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with,
love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make,
encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish
the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone.
I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other
after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own
friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more
and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way
we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two
friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much
two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no
connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is
usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning
because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be
given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the
bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show

Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
My best friend, I remember it was the first days of my senior year when I met my him, we had
1st, 3rd and 7th hour together. I saw him since the first day but I didn't talk to him at all, so after a
couple days in school he sat next to me, and I was like "He seems nice, I'm going to talk to him"
so I did, I remember he had a bracelet on his hand, and say "that's a nice bracelet" he looked at me
really bad like I was bothering him and he just say "thank you" and he moved his hand away, I
was so sad because I felt like he didn't liked me, so I didn't talk to him, I was like that's what I get
for trying to be nice. After a couple weeks he kept seating next to me, one day he started talking to
me and out of nowhere we became friends, he had so many things in common, the type of music we
listen, he has a great sense of humor, I just loved his personality. But he say that's not how things
happen, at least that's how I remember them.
I truly believe it was because of proximity that we became friends, because we interact with each
other, and after the first thirty minutes of talking to him, I felt so comfortable talking with him, if
he had never sat next to me probably I wouldn't met him. Approach behaviors played a big role in our
friendship because I saw that he was interested on getting to know me and I was so interested on him
too, after spend weeks getting information about him, his background and his interest, I considered
him my truthly friend and I can be myself around him.

My Best Friend Essay

  • 1. My Best Friend Essay The last time I saw my best friend was definitely a time I would never forget. It was the best yet worst day of my life. Yet It taught me that letting go isn't always the best thing, but can change you as a person. Summer vacation had just started. When school ended, I went away for a week for my first travel. Nina however, was staying in Moscow, attending a tennis camp for a week. During that week that we didn't constantly talk to each other, which was just a small glimpse of what the future had in store for us. Coming back to Moscow from that incredibly long week. I was very eager to see her once again. Unfortunately, I had to wait a while, because tennis camp only ended a few days after I came back. The feeling of being in the same place as your best friend but not being able to see her was torture. Every day that came closer to when I would see her was exciting, yet terrifying at the same time. I knew that this would be a day that I would definitely not foget. I remember seeing her, how my heart lifted, hearing her voice again, I was the happiest person. We planned the whole day. Our first destination was Nebo, a trampoline park. On the way there, with Moscow's unusual weather, it was pouring. By pouring I mean the cars were swimming. When we got out of the car we were running around the streets. Drenched in water, as we entered the park. Walking into the building, seeing the receptionists reaction was hilarious. Mocking their faces of disgust. The whole time the two of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Best Friend Essay My Best Friend Have you ever had someone in your life who helped you figure out who you were? Someone who showed you the right path. Someone who was there right next you even if you did not take that path. Someone who always seemed to be right, but never held it against you when you were not. Someone whom without your life would most likely be entirely different. I have. Her name was Jessica. Jessica was more than my neighbor. She was more than my mentor. She was my best friend. Jessica lived three houses down from me when I moved into a new neighborhood. She made moving to a new neighborhood a lot easier. She was one of those people who was friends with everybody. She was friends with everyone because she was so special....show more content... She would listen to you. She would be your friend, even if she just met you. I can not remember a time when she had something unpleasant to say about someone. That was one of many valuable lessons I learned from her and have made apart of my life. She seemed to know everything. Anytime I had a perplexing question I knew she would know what to tell me. Her wisdom spanned several subjects. Everything from the textbook things they wanted me to learn in school, to the life lessons that there are no textbooks for. She taught me by example. She showed me that it was just a waste of my time and energy getting mad, upset, angry or so irate that I allowed myself to be controlled by my emotions. She was always calm, patient, and even tempered when faced with people who were less than pleasant to be around. I learned from watching her deal with people that being nice never fails. And I learned from watching her deal with the situations life would present that as long as you gave everything you had to give and never quit, you could never be beat. Jessica was a truly amazing friend. She was a true friend. I could always depend on her being there for me with the right words of advice. Even if I did not want to hear what she was saying. She had been exactly where I was and she knew how perilous the journey of adolescence could be. She informed and guided me in my choices. Yet she never forced anything on me. • 3. My Best Friend Essay Celebrate Life We all have someone or something that we love more than anything. For me, it was my dog, Madix. Madix was my best friend, he was the ray of sunshine in my life. "Bye Madix," I said lovingly. I kissed his soft black fur and walked out of the door. As I hiked down the long ramp I heard my brother, Colby, laughing behind me. "Look Meaghan," Colby said dangling a small bacon treat above Madix's head, "I couldn't find his leash, so I made him follow a treat." Madix jumped with his short legs to try and reach it. Across the street I spotted two small, bushy tailed squirrels chasing each other around a tree. I looked from the squirrels to Madix and back again. Before I could move a muscle Madix had darted towards the ...show more content... I felt his heart beating rapidly. "Colby!" I yelled excitedly, "His heart is still beating!" "Mom, his heart is still beating!" I heard Colby say. "Mom said to take him to the vet, they are on their way home." Colby said, putting his phone in his pocket. I jumped up, still holding Madix like a baby. I had stopped crying, for the time being. Colby and I jumped into the car and took off, avoiding the lady in the SUV, and my grandpa behind us. The usually short seven minute drive to the vet seemed like an eternity. As we were driving there was a horrible stench, it smelled like one of Madix's farts. Colby and I both knew it was the dog, but neither one of us said anything. I began crying again as I thought of what I would do if Madix was dead. Colby had not worried about parking inside the lines, we both jumped out and rushed into the vet's office. "Our dog just got hit by a car." Colby said with a tremble in his voice. A veterinarian hurried out from the back and took Madix's lifeless body out of my arms. His head flopped from my chest to hers. As I sat in the waiting area I began sobbing. An older lady with grey hair, sitting in the waiting area with her cat noticed. She walked over to me, "Can I pray over you and..." she paused, waiting for me to tell her Madix's name. "Madix." I said looking at her wrinkly face. She smiled and placed her hand on my head. "Dear Lord," She began, "Please watch over this young girl and Madix. Help her to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I hope you're not like everyone else and think I'm berserk just sit back and enjoy as I tell you about my berserk life. It all started when I tumbled out of bed I looked out my window to a stranger staring at me, I rubbed my eyes and he dissolved into the morning horizon so I thought I was seeing ominous creatures and carried on with my day. They said they patrolled the area and to just stay at home tonight don't leave my house and to keep everything locked. I was a half–witted teen and didn't listen I snuck out of my room and meet everyone at the party I didn't spot anyone or anything until around 1 A.M the party was just ending and then someone came and started holding everyone hostage. So I ran and hide in Jace's bedroom as I heard gunshots I started crying and then I almost lost my mind when I hear footsteps coming closer and closer to Jace's room but instead turned into another room. • 5. My Best Friend Essay I wanted to let you know that I am okay. My world didn't collapse when you changed you mind. You were probably the first boy I truly ever liked. For some reason, I felt very connected to you, like I could tell you anything and everything and really open up to you which is something that has always been hard for me with anyone, but I took a chance and did it. You were my best friend, and I cared a lot about you, sometimes you said it seemed like I cared to much, but part of me feels as though you just weren't used to someone truly caring about you. I remember so clearly the first night you told me you liked me. I remember the feeling I got. My heart started to beat fast, I got hot and I couldn't stop grinning, but there was also doubt and fear. Doubt that a boy like you could like me, and I think that was my first mistake. I remember the fear taking over and thinking that you were going to turn around and say, "just kidding". I remember that I didn't know how to respond with all these mixed emotions and thoughts going through my head and heart so I just sat there for like 10 minutes just thinking about what had just happened, and after I collected myself I admitted to you that I had liked you for a while. Than two days later I felt my heart shatter for the first time ever as I sat on my couch. As I sat there I tried to pretend that it didn't matter to me that you had said "I'm sorry I made a mistake and realize I don't feel that way about you and I won't ever let it happen Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Personal Narrative: Goodbye My Best Friend Essay Goodbye It is amazing how many things we take for granted. We make plans for the day, and don't think twice about how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. I never thought much about it myself, until I was faced with the shock, and undeniable truth of my cousin's death. I don't think anyone really thinks about tragedy until they are actually faced with shocking news. It was a bright and warm summer morning when I woke from a good night sleep. Nothing prepared me for the dark, gloomy and sad day ahead of me. You see, this was the day that my cousin and childhood best friend passed away in an auto accident. She lived in Byrdstown and found her gift which was cheering, of course mine was Basketball. As time went on, we only got to see each other at basketball games and special occasions. But, we always knew that we would be best friends forever. On June 18th 2006, I lost my cousin to a freak auto accident. The Papers read Auto accident claims local teen. The only thing I know was that childhood best friend was gone. I could never run up and hug her at the basketball game. I could never get to see or talk to her at the reunions or any other family get togethers. We had many experiences together as I said before. One I remember most is when we always met and went to Obey River in Pickett county. We went all through the summer, we always knew what out plans were going to turn out to be. • 8. Personal Narrative Essay : My Best Friend My best friend is always there when I need her the most, has my back when times get rough, and I can always tell her my deepest darkest secrets. My best friend's name is Tea Elaine Valentine. We have been best friends for nine years and counting. We met in the third grade. I was introduced to Tea by another friend of mine. She thought I was weird at first, but as she got to know me we have been best friends ever since. Tea and I are two different people. Tea is more of the outspoken, no filter, and whatever comes to mind is said. I'm more of the quiet and laid back. I have learned many things from Tea like learning how to speak up for myself, never to let anyone walk all over me, and it is okay to say how you feel. Are friendships have stayed strong this many years because of our loyalty, listening ear, and always being there for each other. From third grade to sixth grade Tea and I were stuck together like glue. Every day after school we would call each other on the house phone and we would talk for hours. When it was time for the weekend I was always at her house or she was at my house to spend the night. My after school routine was the same as always but this phone conversation started off different. "I have something to tell you," Tea said."Yes?" I replied. She said "I'm moving to Big Rapids next year" . After hearing this news I was so devastated. I felt like I was losing my best friend. • 9. My Best Friend Essay Friends will come and go like the leaves of a breezy fall day. But some stick around even on the worst days. As the lights beam down on me at a Shippensburg soccer game with my best friend Izzy, a thought crossed my mind. What if we had never met? All of our memorable adventures we experienced together. Like Black Friday Shopping, Hersheypark, Sky Zone, and our trip to Baltimore together would have never happened. So I'm taken back to that wildcard day in third grade when I met Isabel Soliday. It was a breezy October day, school had started to get into the swing. I was in third grade at the time. Since I was the youngest in my building, I was feeling like a weed in a forest full of tree's. At the time school was lonely, none of my friends had even one class with me, and in their free time, they were playing with there new friends. Little did I know, that day I would meet one of my best friends to this day. I don't know what we were working on, but I do remember we picked sticks to determine our partners. Sticking my hand in the cold metal tin, I reached in and picked the number twenty–two. As Mrs. Keenan called the number, I looked into the crowd of kids to see a blonde freckled girl standing there. After everyone was done picking their partners, we found a seat at the front of the room on the soft, brown, but worn carpet. As we worked, we talked quietly, until we had so much passion for the subject our voices carried to others. After class was over, we Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. "That shirt makes your stomach pop out." "We need to find something to do. I am so bored." "I'm coming over and I want food." These are all things we've heard a time or two from our friends. It seems like we all know a friend that says something along those lines every time we see them. They may be different people but it always feels like they think the same. These friends we have always seem to have even the smallest of quirks to make us able to categorize them. Some may be in multiple categories or they might strictly only be one category. There are three friends in everyone's lives that we all love: The Best Friend, The Brutally Honest, and The Adventurer. The Best Friends are the friend who are always be there. They are the best wingman, they are loyal, and they are the type to never let you down. See, the best friend will always know when to step back and give you center stage. My best friend is a perfect example of that. This kid has literally given up his house for a guy who was in need of some help. It was a night that I went over to a friends that I didn't hang out with much and we ended up getting yelled at by his dad so I had to leave. My first thought was "I don't want to go home yet." It was probably around two in the morning when I called my friend. You will immediately know if someone is your best friend if you call them that early in the morning. My phone probably rang once and he picked up. I told him what had happened and asked him what to do. He told me, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Personal Essay : My Sister, My Best Friend Out of anyone in my life, my sister is truly the person I respect and look up the most We have had our ups and downs but she is always there for me when I need her and I am always there for her when I can be. She's my sister, best friend but most importantly my twin sister. She's the one I grew up with, the one that's always there for me. We have a bond that nobody or anything could break. As close as we are today I can say I would be completely lost without her. My sister and I have moments where we both feel weird whenever we are not around each other because as I twin we feel like we can't be separate for one minute. Either of both of us will start missing each other like crazy. And that is just a thing her and me have. And when it comes to missing my sister I get crazy because I just can't be with anybody else but her. And I mean it because I will start, texting her, calling her, I will do anything to be together every day. But having a conversation is important when it comes not talking to each other. According to Albert's he once said: " Conversation plays, an important role in friendship as well." (Albert's, p.190). Having a conversation to one each other it is really important because you will know what the person is feeling today or tomorrow, it is a good thing that people communicate because is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another. However, as grown women's we are, it is time to face reality we will have to separate each other one Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Friendship Essay : My Best Friend A friend is someone that you trust and you enjoy spending time with. Everyone needs a friend because without friend life would be boring. Friends are important because they boost your happiness and reduce your stress. Friends are easy to find but a best friend is very hard to find. Best Friends are very important because they increase your self–confidence, you can share secrets, unlimited laughter, and adventures. To have a best friend you do not have to know them for a long time you just have to feel comfortable around them and trust them. One of my best friends name is Pawornwan but I call her Bam. she only lets certain people call her Bam like her friends or family. I met Bam my freshmen year of high school she was new to the school and was also a freshman. The first time I saw her was in our English class she did not speak much English but whenever I would talk to her I would understand her by her movement of hands when she didn't know a word. She didn't talk a lot when we were with my old friend but when she was just with me she would talk more. When I left my old friend group I would only say hi or have a small conversation when I would see her in the hallway. Junior year we ended up having a class together so we decided to be friends again. Now we are very close more than we were when we were freshman. She talks more and is more outgoing. I know more about her know then when I did the first time I was friends with her. She is Thai and I'm Mexican American so we don't have a ton of things in common. I love having a friend from a different culture because I love learning new things about her culture and the things that they believe in. For example, she says that whoever gets the last bit of the food gets a handsome husband. Some of her believes are funny because we don't have them in my culture. We all need a friend that makes us forget to check the time because we are having a marvelous time. My best friend Ruby is like my sister. We first meet in sixth grade and we became friends but when we were in seventh grade we stopped hanging out because we both started hanging out with other people. We still said hi when we would see each other but it wasn't the same. Then we had a yoga class together our Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. My Cousin Is My Best Friend Some people don't even know their cousins or they don't talk to them at all. That is not the case for me. My cousin is my best friend. She has been my best friend since I was little. She is a big part of my life and I can tell her everything. We lived down the road from each other for many years and we would be together all the time. We were inseparable and we still are today. My cousin, Brie Pulczinski, is a big influence on my life. She is 19 years old and she lives in West Fargo, so not too far away. Some cousins look alike somewhat but Brie and I do not look alike at all. Brie has dark brown hair–almost black. We are about the same height. Brie has a great personality, there are so many reasons to love her. She is someone I can look up to and always go to for advice. Also, it seems like a lot of stuff doesn't get her down and if she is down she is not a person to constantly complain about it. We may be five years apart in age but when we are together none of that matters. Brie and I are alike in so many ways. There are so many memories we have together; some good, some bad but I wouldn't trade them for the world. I'm not going to lie, when we were younger we were trouble makers. Brie was not a very good influence when we were younger. Her and her brother Chase would always try to make me do stuff to get me in trouble. When I was younger, they were the older kids and I always wanted to be cool just like them. So, I did literally everything they told me to do. Which Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Meeting My Best Friend Essay There is nothing in life that can compare to meeting your other half. Meeting my best friend was definitely a life changing event in the best way. She is the most loyal and absolutely the most trustworthy long–term friendships that I have ever experienced. I have been given the opportunity in life to come face to face with my best friend, she has changed my life in various ways. No one that I have met can compete with how well her and I mix. Like peanut butter and jelly, we are good alone but better together. Through thick and thin my best friend and I have lasted 8 going 9 years, and I know that there will be more to come. My best friends' name is Maria Carvallo, she is without a doubt my go to. We met in 7th grade at Glades Middle...show more content... To this day Maria is my ride or die, we kept growing up and when my father got me a car for my birthday it became even better. We both see each other almost every week and hang out to eat, shop, or simply go over each others house. We both have so many similarities in our lives and personalities, we definitely never take that for granted. She has persistently gotten me through all of my rough patches, with that being said, every time we talk she knew what I need to hear to get me through or get ahead of it in life. Nonetheless, we are very alike, but we still obviously have our differences, yet I admire how we will always cooperate and try to imagine and picture ourselves in the other person's position. She always gives me her best friend and at the same time her motherly advice. She is kind hearted, but is not afraid to rip the bandage when needed. We both gossip and laugh about everything! Our conversations can go on for the longest time. There is nothing but love to the fact that we will manage our time for each other even if our schedules are a little hassled. On top of that, maturing in life is very important to me. I never want to have a friend that doesn't grow. I confront everything life throws at my direction. Weirdly, with all of the struggles Maria and I have had together, it has definitely helped us mature together in life. To this day I couldn't be more grateful to the fact that we both Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. My Day With My Best Friend After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so courteous to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting Katherine's Dad outside of school. "Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply resumed his talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and looked out the window. The whole car ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my 5th grade math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly with her dad. We arrived at our destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday afternoon, most likely because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayВґs.So many things were happening at the same time in the same room where Katherine's dad left us. There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables with roses, string, markers, all scattered up. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. The Death Of My Best Friend Essay Grief Reflection Grief is a natural thing that everyone will experience in some way or another. Everyone experiences and handles grief in different ways. I have experienced grief a couple of times in my life when my grandfather passed away, my best friend passed away, and when my dad left and each time I handled my grief in a different way. I'm going to focus my essay on the death of my best friend because it was the most recent and had the biggest impact on me. My best friend passed away last year when he was hit by a drunk driver. This really had an impact on me because he was my emotional support, my go to, my everything. Recovering after his death was a really long process and at times I feel like I am still not fully healed from it. There are five stages in grief, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. I followed these 5 steps in the order they are listed. After Hunter got hit his mom called me to go to the hospital and say goodbye. When she called I couldn't believe it. I was shaking and numb. The ride to the hospital seemed like it took hours. I don 't even remember walking into the hospital or the doctors talking to me. When I walked into the ICU room I was expecting to see Hunter all cheerful and happy and this all be a cruel joke, but he wasn't. Five minutes after I said my goodbyes to him he passed away. I remember everyone asking me how I felt and I honestly couldn 't even comprehend how I felt because I hadn't even comprehend that he was gone, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand new ones with her. She is amazing and I see perfection in her even though she disagrees i don't care she is perfect in my eyes and i will always be there for her I don't care what happens between us and i just wanna say thank you and i love you best friend! My Runaway! Hot air, windy breeze, beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus. • 18. My Friend Essay When I was ten or eleven years old I was just like any other average girl in my school, except I was particularly rude and mean to my friends. Friends are people you confide in, people you go to when your feeling down, people you're the happiest with but for my friends it was just the opposite. One day at school one of my friends had cut her hair and came to school feeling really self–conscious about her hair. As a friend you're supposed to comfort and compliment your friend so they don't feel so bad but no when she came to school I made her feel even worse, "Why did you cut your hair? You look so much uglier than before!", I said to her. On another day a different friend of mine's grandmother died and she was completely heartbroken. Her eyes were as red as blood, the river of tears was drowning her face and they just wouldn't stop. You could hear her trying to hold back her sobs like she had been holding them in for years. You could hear in her voice she was grief–stricken, she cried everyday and as a friend you would think that I would comfort her, tell her everything was going to be ok and hug her as long as she needed me to. No, when she came crying to me I told her, "You're such a cry baby just because your grandma died doesn't mean you have to cry every day!" I've said all of these things and many more to my "friends". I've put them down, spread gossip about them, and was just down right mean to them. The things that I've said to them were borderline bullying. I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. I Met My Best Friend For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with, love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make, encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone. I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend My best friend, I remember it was the first days of my senior year when I met my him, we had 1st, 3rd and 7th hour together. I saw him since the first day but I didn't talk to him at all, so after a couple days in school he sat next to me, and I was like "He seems nice, I'm going to talk to him" so I did, I remember he had a bracelet on his hand, and say "that's a nice bracelet" he looked at me really bad like I was bothering him and he just say "thank you" and he moved his hand away, I was so sad because I felt like he didn't liked me, so I didn't talk to him, I was like that's what I get for trying to be nice. After a couple weeks he kept seating next to me, one day he started talking to me and out of nowhere we became friends, he had so many things in common, the type of music we listen, he has a great sense of humor, I just loved his personality. But he say that's not how things happen, at least that's how I remember them. I truly believe it was because of proximity that we became friends, because we interact with each other, and after the first thirty minutes of talking to him, I felt so comfortable talking with him, if he had never sat next to me probably I wouldn't met him. Approach behaviors played a big role in our friendship because I saw that he was interested on getting to know me and I was so interested on him too, after spend weeks getting information about him, his background and his interest, I considered him my truthly friend and I can be myself around him.
