Argumentative Essay On Social Justice
Oftentimes, the definition of social justice can be misinterpreted or misunderstood. The true
definition of social justice is often structured by governmental implications but is the fair and
proper administration of laws to each individual conforming to the natural law. Equality is
supposed to be equally distributed amongst individuals nationally, but can sometimes be taken
advantage of and be taken away from people who deserve it the most. Generally, those who view
social justices as a right, also value people above profits. Social justice describes the concept of
society where justice is achieved in every aspect of society, rather than just the administration of the
law. Overall, social justice gives society the ability to have a voice of laws that may be broken but
give a sufficient argument to be heard by the supreme court. Equality is a major issue that has
been demanded by society for centuries. In Victor Fleming's film The Way of All Flesh, released in
October of 1927, the story describes the life of Henrietta Lacks. Henrietta Lacks was an African
American woman from Baltimore who eventually died of cervical cancer in 1951. Before she died
some of her cancerous cells were taken without her permission and the cells have been
reproducing in laboratories around the world ever since. The question is, does taking the cells of a
woman who was eventually going to die break the laws of social justice, or was this a necessary
action to take in hopes of eventually finding a

Argumentative Essay On English Class
What I am about to do is inform you on how to survive the ferocious English 1302 course to make
life a bit easier on you. I mean, you're at the edge of your seat dying with loads of work, starving
like a dying child, living off of pennies and the only thing that is keeping you from collapsing is
your Starbucks drink that is filled with four shots of espresso, right? Well, by the time you get to the
end of this letter, you'll thank me later for it.
When you enter your English class, you will come across many assignments. They happen to be your
annotated bibliography and your researched argument essay, or in other words RAE. The purpose of
the bibliography is to critique sources and gather enough data for you essay. It includes citations, a
summary of your topic and personal thoughts of the sources you chose. The RAE is a persuasive
essay where you attempt to create an argument that is supported with the information you gathered
in your annotated bibliography. In my RAE, I argued that children can recuperate after their parents'
separation. Its purpose was to demonstrate that if parents were to come together and realize that

I learned that by annotating a certain part of the reading, it helped increase my understanding. Not
only that but it helped me not miss a single bit of important information. Writing notes in the
margins of the text was really helpful because it was a summary of the entire paragraph and
whenever I would look back at my notes, it reminded me of what I read. Also, circling words I
didn't know was very accommodating because again, it helped me understand the concept a bit
more. Underlining words that seem important to you is a big tip I suggest because you are able to
use that information when you are talking about your source. You can expand that information by
linking it to another similar source. Therefore, it is important to annotate. It'll take up extra time but
it will be worth

Argumentative Essay On Physical Exercise
Engaging in physical exercise has many advantages and it benefits, not only to the physical health
but as well as the mental health. Exercising regularly helps to maintain a good health balance in the
body, reducing stress and overcoming anxiety and depression in a person. It also activate the
chemicals in a person's brain to develop a better mood. This argumentative essay will demonstrate
about how exercising helps and improve not only a person's physical health but also mental health
such as depression, anxiety and stress.
"Exercise" is a well known word among people all over the world. In fact it is popular among
teenagers and adults that are trying to stay fit and healthy. The use of the word "Exercise" is highly
overrated because people tend to think that exercising keep them in shape and to lose weights.
However, what they do not realised is that exercising also improve one's mental health including
depression, anxiety and stress that most people are facing these days. Exercising promote better
mood control. Research shows that exercise put long–term depression at ease (Weir, 2011). Based on
the evidences of an experiment, studies shows that James Blumenthal, PhD, a clinical psychologist
has investigated, together with his colleagues upon some adults with major depressive disorders
(Weir, 2011). According to Weir (2011) Blumenthal conducted a mood
–exercise connection
experiments and found out that "Exercise seems not only important for treating depression, but also
in preventing relapse". The release of chemicals such as endorphins and serotonin from exercising
increases the mood (Health Direct Australia, 2016). In the year 2006, Otto and his colleagues
analysed 11 studies examining the effects of exercise on mental health. It was determined that
exercising could be a strong influence for clinical depression (Clinical Psychology: Science and
Practice, 2006, as cited in Weir, 2011). From this, it is concluded that clinicians should think
carefully about adding exercise to the treatment plans for their depressed patients (Weir, 2011).
Smits (Co–director) and Otto (Co–writer) of Anxiety and Research and Treatment Program have
reasoned that regular exercise help people who are exposed to anxiety

Argumentative Essay About Anime
Do you watch cartoons? I do. Not bugs bunny; I'm talking about anime. Do you know what that is?
Anime is, simply put, animation that's made in Japan. I'll give you some examples of anime that
you might know. Speed Racer, Hello Kitty, Pokemon, RoboTech, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and
a lot of the cartoons you find on Cartoon Network qualify as well, particularly Adult Swim.
Thankfully our country has gotten the rights to translate the stories from Japanese to English,
because the storylines in anime are really good. Often they're better than what Hollywood shovels
into your brain.
That's basically what anime is. Now let's talk about what it's not.
Anime is not a genre; it's an art form; a medium. From now on I want you to think of anime as
being equated with movies, books, music, etc; all the entertainment media. Just like you have movies
for kids, movies for teens, adults, so it is with anime.
All your entertainment comes in 31 flavors, right? Comedy, horror, drama, suspense, action, etc.
You file similar movies on the same shelf in the store, don't you? But you shouldn't be putting all
anime on the same shelf because anime is not a genre. It's a medium, like movies are a medium,
like books are a medium. A medium can have any genre of entertainment in it; well so can anime.
Anime is not all sex and violence as some people will tell you. When I hear someone say that anime
is sex and violence, that immediately tells me that they watched probably one particular anime show

Argumentative Essay On Renewable Energy
Renewability
For nearly everyone on earth, fossil fuels are a part of our daily lives. Some of the more obvious
places to find petroleum products would be gas and diesel in cars and trucks, but it is in more than
just your tank. Without fossil fuels, we would not have things such as plastic to make a wide
variety of things such as tires, kayaks, or even computers. The question remains, do we need fossil
fuels?
In this day and age, we have new energy sources that could be used to power our homes and
transportation. Wind and solar power are used all over the world, but are still used far less than
fossil fuels. Most would say it's not reliable or it doesn't make any profit. While both statements are
true, it doesn't mean we can't make a better future using renewable energy. In fact, the only reason
we don't use renewables for everything is that we don't want to change. The hard truth is we need to
change. Fossil fuels are great right now, but if we run out, humanity must have another source of
energy.
Renewable energy may seem like a daunting task, but the benefits to humanity could be incredible.
Public uses of renewable energy range from transportation all the way to heating and cooling.
Everything we use could become less explosive and less expensive. Cities with a high concentration
of people could become safer and healthier places to live. Transportation could be converted to
electricity dramatically, improving smog conditions. Global warming may or may not

Failure is the step towards success. Do you agree?
It is often assumed that failure is a deterrent to achievement. Rather, failure should be seen as a
motivator for a person to keep trying until the objective or aim of a particular mission is fulfilled.
Failure often times leads a person to feel helpless, disappointed and depressed. However, one should
not allow this to set them back in trying to achieve the ultimate aim one has set out to do. Failure in
the beginning can often be a powerful incentive to reassess one's position in wanting to achieve the
particular aims; to analyse whether the purpose is worth the trouble the person has to undergo and

Another disadvantage of being an only is that he lacks companionship. He has no brother or sister
to confide in. Growing up as an only child can be very lonely. If you have siblings you will have
to share everything, so you get less; but you also get less of the bad things. Siblings can support
and comfort each in times of trouble. The elder siblings learn to care for the younger ones and the
younger ones learn to respect their elder siblings and have someone to look up to besides their
parents. You are more balanced person than an only child. Another advantage of having siblings is
that your parents' attention is divided among your siblings. As a result, there is less pressure on you
to perform well, be it academically or in other areas. Having siblings also means that you have
companionship, the joy of caring and sharing, and security. I, personally, am happy that I am not an
only child.
Students should not take up part time jobs. Discuss.
Nowadays, students love to have part–time jobs. Their parents approve it easily as they are said to
gain experience from working. However, having a job is a big responsibility for a student. Before,
teenagers at their age were working to help their family because of poverty. Nevertheless, they
were actually eager to study and learn at school for their future. It was not the same as the teenagers
nowadays where they are more likely competing to each other to have a job. Most of the

Argumentative Essay On Suicide
If you bring up the subject of suicide in a room of people, it is likely that the individuals will
become quite, begin to become uncomfortable. Why is this? Is it because of the aspect of death?
Is it the ways it is done? Society may say it is a wrong and selfish act, or that a person is not
considering others and therefore it is erroneous. We live in a society where mental health problems
are rampant, societal issues take over our daily lives and out everyday stresses impact our health,
yet our understanding of the subject that is to be avoided and carries a stigma with it that affects the
way people see those who have attempted or completed suicide. When deciding if suicide is an
ethical or morally accepted action, we must take many factors into consideration. Some of these
factors may include the culture and society in which we live and our knowledge of psychological
and biological causes. With these factors in mind, we can then adopt our own personal philosophies
on whether suicide is an ethical or moral act. While not all individuals are going to agree on a
consensus, it is important to consider others opinions and be aware of them while discussing the
subject, even if it is uncomfortable.
Definition
The term suicide is not easily defined in that it many factors play a role on what is considered an
act of suicide. An informal definition can be that it is the deliberate and voluntary act of taking ones

Argumentative essay
Among the many decision a woman faces when she is pregnant, is whether or not she will
breastfeed her child. In our society and in this day and age, this has become a matter of choice as
opposed to long ago where formula was nonexistent and the only means of nurturing your baby was
to breastfeed. Many women are oblivious to the health risks their baby may endure having not being
breastfed. Research and studies show that babies who are breastfed have better health among other
things if they are breastfed. To add to that, formula companies tend to obscure the truth and bribe the
doctors in to promoting their product. This...show more content...
Because of this, many doctors have received a cut for promoting formula from these major
manufacturers. While the new mother who has just given birth to her baby feels that formula
feeding is better since the doctor recommended it, little does she know that the doctor is doing
what he was endorsed to do. Could this mean that many doctors are withholding the truth for
money? It may very well be and I will further discuss this issue. According to studies done in the
US, fewer than half of the babies are exclusively breastfed during their first two days in the
hospital. "By the time they are six months old, only 19 percent of US babies receive any breast milk"
(Coburn, 2000, 1). This is in large part due to the doctor's orders. Little do these mothers know that
the doctors are pushing formula products on these new mothers because they are obliged to do so
under a contract. Coburn also states "To promote artificial feeding, formula manufacturers spend
millions of dollars securing exclusive distribution deals for formula samples, at a yearly average of
$6,000 to $8,000 per doctor" (p.2). Many formula companies distribute their products to hospitals to
advertize their formula. It is a form of bribery, because if you give the doctors and physicians money
they will without a doubt encourage the recommendation of that

Argumentative Essay On Special Education
Introducation
Special Education is a topic of controversy with many advocates fighting for the justice children and
adults with special needs so rightfully deserve. With laws being passed and modified so frequently, it
is important that the educators being brought into the world have an extensive knowledge of the
developmental needs of many different types of children. With this knowledge and their constant
measures to keep up to date with the fast–moving world of education, they will be able to deliver an
appropriate atmosphere that is in accordance with the law that ensures ethical practices and
guidelines are always being followed.
Legislative, Thoerietical, Historical
Our country's Legislative system has set many laws in place to protect the educational rights of all
students, which allows for students to have a greater opportunity for educational success with
funding levels varying between the states. Hooper and Umansky's book, Young Children with
Special Needs, states that the majority of early childhood intervention programs began under the
"umbrella of Maternal and Child Health (MCH)," which was put into place in 1935 in accordance
with the Social Security Act. The Americans with Disabilities Act and theIndividuals with
Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) are two programs stemming from this historical piece of
legislation. The Americans with Disabilities Act was an anti–discrimination law that allowed for
more students to have access to certain facilities and resources giving them a better chance to
succeed in their education. IDEA made it mandatory for the state to provide special education
service programs for children between the ages of three and five. The parents with children who
are included in IDEA typically receive grants to help them fund their child's education. Another
piece of legislation that is widely utilized in classrooms today is the Individualized Family
Service Plan (IFSP). This plan develops a plan of action for the family with children that receive
special education services and allows the information to further assist the child beyond school
grounds. In use today is the Affordable Care Act (2012) that allowed for programs to be funded that
look to prevent and care for children

Conservative Argumentative Essay
All of the world's natural resources are slowly depleting over time. Oil, natural gas, and coal will
not last forever. This simple fact supports the liberal stance on all energy issues and shows us why
the conservative argument is not right. Due to the depleting resources, we need to find different
means of creating energy, such as wind, solar, and hydroelectric, coming from a liberal standpoint.
Fossil fuels are not good for the environment. All fossil fuels release toxic chemicals, often called
carbon–emissions, into the very air that we breath. By having solar power plants, wind farms, and
nuclear power plants, we would create thousands of jobs and lessen the impact of carbon in the
atmosphere. These forms of energy are renewable and can...show more content...

emissions will start to decline along with smog–filled cities. The percentage of fossil fuels being
burned will go down as renewable energy percent production goes up. Renewable energy is much
more environmentally friendly than that of fossil fuels. All of these ideals, supported by facts, are
great reasons that we need to start making the switch to renewable

Argumentative Essay On Gymnastics
"Gymnastics taught me everything– life lessons, responsibility and discipline and respect," says
Shawn Johnson, 2008 Beijing Olympics All Around Gold Medalist. A hotly debated issue is
whether or not competitive sports are beneficial for children and teens. (This, though, will focus
solely on gymnastics.) However, research shows gymnastics is a perfectly healthy sport which
teaches life skills such as time management, sportsmanship, and healthy habits.
First, gymnastics teaches time management. For instance, gymnasts have long practice hours.
According to Gymnasticscoaching.com and research surveys, these are the average practice times
per level: "Level 4 – 6 hours a week = 3 days x 2 hours; Level 5 – 8.75 hrs a week; Level 6 – 11

In fact, Christopher Bergland stresses that being active as children will lead to being healthy adults,
as well as having lifelong habits of working out. Gymnasts definitely are active, as seen in the
practice hours mentioned in the first paragraph. In gymnastics, flipping around requires muscle,
flexibility, and strength; qualities that are easily transferable to other sports as well. Rita Wieber,
the mother of Jordyn Wieber, says nutrition is very important for a gymnast. "Eat what she needs to
perform at her best...be as healthy as possible," she writes. Gymnasts usually do their sport until their
mid–teens...being told about eating healthy will have a lasting impact on them. On the contrary,
doctors and parents argue that because of the nature of gymnastics, gymnasts are susceptible to
eating disorders. Actually, gymnasts who get eating disorders are most likely nagged by the coach
to lose weight and become stronger. If the coach is verbally abusive and crude, should the gymnast
even be training under them? Probably not! Anyways, gymnasts are not likely to be affected by
anorexia, bulimia, and the like because gymnastics enriches confidence. Think about it– on beam,
gymnasts are flipping on a four feet high, four inches wide piece of wood in front of judges. They
put in their hardest work to get the best score possible, and they know it. Furthermore, healthy
habits are just a few of the life skills

Argumentative Essay On Stress And Depression
It's so common for people to conflate stress and anxiety that the two terms are often considered
synonyms for one another. Even so, experts say that these are actually not the same thing, and the
differences are, perhaps, best enumerated in the panel discussion held at the Enloe Facebook Live
event hosted Thursday, "Keep Holiday Stress at Bay." Health professionals unpacked the differences
between anxiety, stress and depression. Additionally, new studies suggest that stress is able to
reprogram cells and that certain kinds of anxiety can be born of genetic predisposition.
Debbie Strukan, an Enloe health professional and nurse manager, hosted a 45–minute talk with Patty

between [anxiety, stress and depression] and we'll break that down in this event," Strukan explained
in advance of the event when talking about the discussion topic. Enloe's coordinator of

regarding mental health can be remedied with increased awareness, which is what the live event was
all about.

Argumentative Essay On Water Pollution
In recent times, a popular issue that sparks much controversy amongst the population is Pollution.
Since the Industrial Revolution, pollution has been rapidly increasing, whether it be air pollution or
soil pollution, the effects are prevalent. From the Great Barrier Reef slowly dying, to the polar ice
caps melting to climate change, pollution has been much more noticeable than in prior times.
Although, it is clear that pollution is causing great issues for our environment, many fail to

issues affect them personally. These effects on our environment actually impact the human body and
can affect different systems within the body such as the respiratory, reproductive orimmune system.
An issue that deserves recognition would be that of the affects of water pollution and access to clean

Despite the Electoral College system being founded by the founding fathers in America and being

new electoral system. The reality that most of the states do not have laws requiring electors to vote
according to the will of their state, the electors are unbound thus the system create the possibility of
rogue electors. Also, the system presents a situation where the presidential election winner is
determined by the House of Representatives causing disenfranchising a significant number of voters.
Another problem surrounding the Electoral College system is that it allows one–party states, states
that almost always go to one party. In this context, a Democrat who casts a vote in a mostly
Republican state feels that his vote is wasted because of no way that state will be won by a
Democrat. Besides, the system is based on two–party elections, the Democrat and the Republican
leaving Americans with two candidates to choose (Belenky, 364). The voters end up picking the
candidate with fewer issues rather than the one they support. In my opinion, people feel that
Electoral College has single–handedly defeated

  • 1. Argumentative Essay On Social Justice Oftentimes, the definition of social justice can be misinterpreted or misunderstood. The true definition of social justice is often structured by governmental implications but is the fair and proper administration of laws to each individual conforming to the natural law. Equality is supposed to be equally distributed amongst individuals nationally, but can sometimes be taken advantage of and be taken away from people who deserve it the most. Generally, those who view social justices as a right, also value people above profits. Social justice describes the concept of society where justice is achieved in every aspect of society, rather than just the administration of the law. Overall, social justice gives society the ability to have a voice of laws that may be broken but give a sufficient argument to be heard by the supreme court. Equality is a major issue that has been demanded by society for centuries. In Victor Fleming's film The Way of All Flesh, released in October of 1927, the story describes the life of Henrietta Lacks. Henrietta Lacks was an African American woman from Baltimore who eventually died of cervical cancer in 1951. Before she died some of her cancerous cells were taken without her permission and the cells have been reproducing in laboratories around the world ever since. The question is, does taking the cells of a woman who was eventually going to die break the laws of social justice, or was this a necessary action to take in hopes of eventually finding a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Argumentative Essay On English Class What I am about to do is inform you on how to survive the ferocious English 1302 course to make life a bit easier on you. I mean, you're at the edge of your seat dying with loads of work, starving like a dying child, living off of pennies and the only thing that is keeping you from collapsing is your Starbucks drink that is filled with four shots of espresso, right? Well, by the time you get to the end of this letter, you'll thank me later for it. When you enter your English class, you will come across many assignments. They happen to be your annotated bibliography and your researched argument essay, or in other words RAE. The purpose of the bibliography is to critique sources and gather enough data for you essay. It includes citations, a summary of your topic and personal thoughts of the sources you chose. The RAE is a persuasive essay where you attempt to create an argument that is supported with the information you gathered in your annotated bibliography. In my RAE, I argued that children can recuperate after their parents' separation. Its purpose was to demonstrate that if parents were to come together and realize that ...show more content... I learned that by annotating a certain part of the reading, it helped increase my understanding. Not only that but it helped me not miss a single bit of important information. Writing notes in the margins of the text was really helpful because it was a summary of the entire paragraph and whenever I would look back at my notes, it reminded me of what I read. Also, circling words I didn't know was very accommodating because again, it helped me understand the concept a bit more. Underlining words that seem important to you is a big tip I suggest because you are able to use that information when you are talking about your source. You can expand that information by linking it to another similar source. Therefore, it is important to annotate. It'll take up extra time but it will be worth Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Argumentative Essay On Physical Exercise Engaging in physical exercise has many advantages and it benefits, not only to the physical health but as well as the mental health. Exercising regularly helps to maintain a good health balance in the body, reducing stress and overcoming anxiety and depression in a person. It also activate the chemicals in a person's brain to develop a better mood. This argumentative essay will demonstrate about how exercising helps and improve not only a person's physical health but also mental health such as depression, anxiety and stress. "Exercise" is a well known word among people all over the world. In fact it is popular among teenagers and adults that are trying to stay fit and healthy. The use of the word "Exercise" is highly overrated because people tend to think that exercising keep them in shape and to lose weights. However, what they do not realised is that exercising also improve one's mental health including depression, anxiety and stress that most people are facing these days. Exercising promote better mood control. Research shows that exercise put long–term depression at ease (Weir, 2011). Based on the evidences of an experiment, studies shows that James Blumenthal, PhD, a clinical psychologist has investigated, together with his colleagues upon some adults with major depressive disorders (Weir, 2011). According to Weir (2011) Blumenthal conducted a mood –exercise connection experiments and found out that "Exercise seems not only important for treating depression, but also in preventing relapse". The release of chemicals such as endorphins and serotonin from exercising increases the mood (Health Direct Australia, 2016). In the year 2006, Otto and his colleagues analysed 11 studies examining the effects of exercise on mental health. It was determined that exercising could be a strong influence for clinical depression (Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice, 2006, as cited in Weir, 2011). From this, it is concluded that clinicians should think carefully about adding exercise to the treatment plans for their depressed patients (Weir, 2011). Smits (Co–director) and Otto (Co–writer) of Anxiety and Research and Treatment Program have reasoned that regular exercise help people who are exposed to anxiety Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Argumentative Essay About Anime Do you watch cartoons? I do. Not bugs bunny; I'm talking about anime. Do you know what that is? Anime is, simply put, animation that's made in Japan. I'll give you some examples of anime that you might know. Speed Racer, Hello Kitty, Pokemon, RoboTech, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and a lot of the cartoons you find on Cartoon Network qualify as well, particularly Adult Swim. Thankfully our country has gotten the rights to translate the stories from Japanese to English, because the storylines in anime are really good. Often they're better than what Hollywood shovels into your brain. That's basically what anime is. Now let's talk about what it's not. Anime is not a genre; it's an art form; a medium. From now on I want you to think of anime as being equated with movies, books, music, etc; all the entertainment media. Just like you have movies for kids, movies for teens, adults, so it is with anime. All your entertainment comes in 31 flavors, right? Comedy, horror, drama, suspense, action, etc. You file similar movies on the same shelf in the store, don't you? But you shouldn't be putting all anime on the same shelf because anime is not a genre. It's a medium, like movies are a medium, like books are a medium. A medium can have any genre of entertainment in it; well so can anime. Anime is not all sex and violence as some people will tell you. When I hear someone say that anime is sex and violence, that immediately tells me that they watched probably one particular anime show Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Argumentative Essay On Renewable Energy Renewability For nearly everyone on earth, fossil fuels are a part of our daily lives. Some of the more obvious places to find petroleum products would be gas and diesel in cars and trucks, but it is in more than just your tank. Without fossil fuels, we would not have things such as plastic to make a wide variety of things such as tires, kayaks, or even computers. The question remains, do we need fossil fuels? In this day and age, we have new energy sources that could be used to power our homes and transportation. Wind and solar power are used all over the world, but are still used far less than fossil fuels. Most would say it's not reliable or it doesn't make any profit. While both statements are true, it doesn't mean we can't make a better future using renewable energy. In fact, the only reason we don't use renewables for everything is that we don't want to change. The hard truth is we need to change. Fossil fuels are great right now, but if we run out, humanity must have another source of energy. Renewable energy may seem like a daunting task, but the benefits to humanity could be incredible. Public uses of renewable energy range from transportation all the way to heating and cooling. Everything we use could become less explosive and less expensive. Cities with a high concentration of people could become safer and healthier places to live. Transportation could be converted to electricity dramatically, improving smog conditions. Global warming may or may not Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Argumentative Essays Failure is the step towards success. Do you agree? It is often assumed that failure is a deterrent to achievement. Rather, failure should be seen as a motivator for a person to keep trying until the objective or aim of a particular mission is fulfilled. Failure often times leads a person to feel helpless, disappointed and depressed. However, one should not allow this to set them back in trying to achieve the ultimate aim one has set out to do. Failure in the beginning can often be a powerful incentive to reassess one's position in wanting to achieve the particular aims; to analyse whether the purpose is worth the trouble the person has to undergo and the whether the obstacles are surmountable. Practical and...show more content... Another disadvantage of being an only is that he lacks companionship. He has no brother or sister to confide in. Growing up as an only child can be very lonely. If you have siblings you will have to share everything, so you get less; but you also get less of the bad things. Siblings can support and comfort each in times of trouble. The elder siblings learn to care for the younger ones and the younger ones learn to respect their elder siblings and have someone to look up to besides their parents. You are more balanced person than an only child. Another advantage of having siblings is that your parents' attention is divided among your siblings. As a result, there is less pressure on you to perform well, be it academically or in other areas. Having siblings also means that you have companionship, the joy of caring and sharing, and security. I, personally, am happy that I am not an only child. Students should not take up part time jobs. Discuss. Nowadays, students love to have part–time jobs. Their parents approve it easily as they are said to gain experience from working. However, having a job is a big responsibility for a student. Before, teenagers at their age were working to help their family because of poverty. Nevertheless, they were actually eager to study and learn at school for their future. It was not the same as the teenagers nowadays where they are more likely competing to each other to have a job. Most of the Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The strength of this argumentative essay is consider weak because it does not capture the interest of the reader and was not persuasive enough; even though from the introduction of the argumentative essay includes full sentences and a good opinion, the argumentative essay is all objective. • 10. | Breastfeeding is better for your baby| Argumentative Essay| | | Islas, R. Argumentative essay Among the many decision a woman faces when she is pregnant, is whether or not she will breastfeed her child. In our society and in this day and age, this has become a matter of choice as opposed to long ago where formula was nonexistent and the only means of nurturing your baby was to breastfeed. Many women are oblivious to the health risks their baby may endure having not being breastfed. Research and studies show that babies who are breastfed have better health among other things if they are breastfed. To add to that, formula companies tend to obscure the truth and bribe the doctors in to promoting their product. This...show more content... Because of this, many doctors have received a cut for promoting formula from these major manufacturers. While the new mother who has just given birth to her baby feels that formula feeding is better since the doctor recommended it, little does she know that the doctor is doing what he was endorsed to do. Could this mean that many doctors are withholding the truth for money? It may very well be and I will further discuss this issue. According to studies done in the US, fewer than half of the babies are exclusively breastfed during their first two days in the hospital. "By the time they are six months old, only 19 percent of US babies receive any breast milk" (Coburn, 2000, 1). This is in large part due to the doctor's orders. Little do these mothers know that the doctors are pushing formula products on these new mothers because they are obliged to do so under a contract. Coburn also states "To promote artificial feeding, formula manufacturers spend millions of dollars securing exclusive distribution deals for formula samples, at a yearly average of $6,000 to $8,000 per doctor" (p.2). Many formula companies distribute their products to hospitals to advertize their formula. It is a form of bribery, because if you give the doctors and physicians money they will without a doubt encourage the recommendation of that Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 12. Argumentative Essay On Special Education Introducation Special Education is a topic of controversy with many advocates fighting for the justice children and adults with special needs so rightfully deserve. With laws being passed and modified so frequently, it is important that the educators being brought into the world have an extensive knowledge of the developmental needs of many different types of children. With this knowledge and their constant measures to keep up to date with the fast–moving world of education, they will be able to deliver an appropriate atmosphere that is in accordance with the law that ensures ethical practices and guidelines are always being followed. Legislative, Thoerietical, Historical Our country's Legislative system has set many laws in place to protect the educational rights of all students, which allows for students to have a greater opportunity for educational success with funding levels varying between the states. Hooper and Umansky's book, Young Children with Special Needs, states that the majority of early childhood intervention programs began under the "umbrella of Maternal and Child Health (MCH)," which was put into place in 1935 in accordance with the Social Security Act. The Americans with Disabilities Act and theIndividuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) are two programs stemming from this historical piece of legislation. The Americans with Disabilities Act was an anti–discrimination law that allowed for more students to have access to certain facilities and resources giving them a better chance to succeed in their education. IDEA made it mandatory for the state to provide special education service programs for children between the ages of three and five. The parents with children who are included in IDEA typically receive grants to help them fund their child's education. Another piece of legislation that is widely utilized in classrooms today is the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). This plan develops a plan of action for the family with children that receive special education services and allows the information to further assist the child beyond school grounds. In use today is the Affordable Care Act (2012) that allowed for programs to be funded that look to prevent and care for children Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 14. Conservative Argumentative Essay All of the world's natural resources are slowly depleting over time. Oil, natural gas, and coal will not last forever. This simple fact supports the liberal stance on all energy issues and shows us why the conservative argument is not right. Due to the depleting resources, we need to find different means of creating energy, such as wind, solar, and hydroelectric, coming from a liberal standpoint. Fossil fuels are not good for the environment. All fossil fuels release toxic chemicals, often called carbon–emissions, into the very air that we breath. By having solar power plants, wind farms, and nuclear power plants, we would create thousands of jobs and lessen the impact of carbon in the atmosphere. These forms of energy are renewable and can...show more content... Therefore, something needs to be done about how we obtain our energy. Renewable energy is clean with a very small carbon footprint. In making power plants and hydroelectric dams, we will create thousands upon thousands of jobs that stimulates economic growth. We will conquer the fight to find clean energy. We will leap into the future with our technologically advanced studies. Carbon emissions will start to decline along with smog–filled cities. The percentage of fossil fuels being burned will go down as renewable energy percent production goes up. Renewable energy is much more environmentally friendly than that of fossil fuels. • 15. Argumentative Essay : Summer Is The Best The four seasons, winter, summer, autumn and spring fly by like Lightning Mcqueen from the movie Cars, racing to the finish line. When you talk about the seasons everybody has a different perspective to it. Some might say summer is the best, due to there being no school, also the hot weather. Many may argue that Spring is the best, because of the plants coming back to life after months in the grave. Finally, some people believe that autumn is the best, because of the fact that it has comfortable weather and the colors of the trees. • 16. Argumentative Essay On Gymnastics "Gymnastics taught me everything– life lessons, responsibility and discipline and respect," says Shawn Johnson, 2008 Beijing Olympics All Around Gold Medalist. A hotly debated issue is whether or not competitive sports are beneficial for children and teens. (This, though, will focus solely on gymnastics.) However, research shows gymnastics is a perfectly healthy sport which teaches life skills such as time management, sportsmanship, and healthy habits. First, gymnastics teaches time management. For instance, gymnasts have long practice hours. According to Gymnasticscoaching.com and research surveys, these are the average practice times per level: "Level 4 – 6 hours a week = 3 days x 2 hours; Level 5 – 8.75 hrs a week; Level 6 – 11 hours...show more content... In fact, Christopher Bergland stresses that being active as children will lead to being healthy adults, as well as having lifelong habits of working out. Gymnasts definitely are active, as seen in the practice hours mentioned in the first paragraph. In gymnastics, flipping around requires muscle, flexibility, and strength; qualities that are easily transferable to other sports as well. Rita Wieber, the mother of Jordyn Wieber, says nutrition is very important for a gymnast. "Eat what she needs to perform at her best...be as healthy as possible," she writes. Gymnasts usually do their sport until their mid–teens...being told about eating healthy will have a lasting impact on them. On the contrary, doctors and parents argue that because of the nature of gymnastics, gymnasts are susceptible to eating disorders. Actually, gymnasts who get eating disorders are most likely nagged by the coach to lose weight and become stronger. If the coach is verbally abusive and crude, should the gymnast even be training under them? Probably not! Anyways, gymnasts are not likely to be affected by anorexia, bulimia, and the like because gymnastics enriches confidence. Think about it– on beam, gymnasts are flipping on a four feet high, four inches wide piece of wood in front of judges. They put in their hardest work to get the best score possible, and they know it. Furthermore, healthy habits are just a few of the life skills Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 18. Argumentative Essay On Stress And Depression It's so common for people to conflate stress and anxiety that the two terms are often considered synonyms for one another. Even so, experts say that these are actually not the same thing, and the differences are, perhaps, best enumerated in the panel discussion held at the Enloe Facebook Live event hosted Thursday, "Keep Holiday Stress at Bay." Health professionals unpacked the differences between anxiety, stress and depression. Additionally, new studies suggest that stress is able to reprogram cells and that certain kinds of anxiety can be born of genetic predisposition. Debbie Strukan, an Enloe health professional and nurse manager, hosted a 45–minute talk with Patty Principi, an occupational therapist and also an Enloe health professional. "There's a difference between [anxiety, stress and depression] and we'll break that down in this event," Strukan explained in advance of the event when talking about the discussion topic. Enloe's coordinator of communications and media, Christina Chavira spoke to the fact that this kind of misunderstanding regarding mental health can be remedied with increased awareness, which is what the live event was all about. "Mental health is among the top three health issues for Butte County, according to feedback we gather from the community, publicly available data and inpatient hospital data. Countywide, substance abuse and mental health are a top area of focus. The Facebook live event is one helpful tool in this area because it Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 20. Argumentative Essay On Electoral College Electoral College Despite the Electoral College system being founded by the founding fathers in America and being there as long as the Constitution exists, many people still do not have sufficient knowledge on how it works. The Electoral College does not provide honest presidential elections rather it has the potential to undo the will of people at any point from the selection of electors to the vote tallying in Congress (Shaw, 3). Electoral College in the United States has played a major role in depressing the voter's turnout. Every State is given an equal number of electoral votes despite the population and in turn, the system has put in place no measure to encourage the voters to take part in the elections. Besides, the system distorts...show more content... The system is obsolete owing to the new methods of research and becoming aware of issues as well as faster sharing of information for the Americans to know any presidential candidate. Besides, United States of America has witnessed growth almost in every aspect of life and has shown the ability to handle new developments articulating the strength of the country to establish and manage a new electoral system. The reality that most of the states do not have laws requiring electors to vote according to the will of their state, the electors are unbound thus the system create the possibility of rogue electors. Also, the system presents a situation where the presidential election winner is determined by the House of Representatives causing disenfranchising a significant number of voters. Another problem surrounding the Electoral College system is that it allows one–party states, states that almost always go to one party. In this context, a Democrat who casts a vote in a mostly Republican state feels that his vote is wasted because of no way that state will be won by a Democrat. Besides, the system is based on two–party elections, the Democrat and the Republican leaving Americans with two candidates to choose (Belenky, 364). The voters end up picking the candidate with fewer issues rather than the one they support. In my opinion, people feel that Electoral College has single–handedly defeated Get more content on HelpWriting.net
