the probable overlap b/w the persons KSA
and other characteristics/motivation and the
jobs requirement is sufficient to warrant
entering into the employment relationship.
 Once this decision has been made, the
organization and the individual seek to
become legally bound to each other through
mutual agreement on the T&C of
employment.
 Employment contract occurs both in internal
and external staffing.
 An employment contract is an agreement b/w
an employee & employer that specifies the
term of employment.
