Dell held its first external 'unconference' on March 8, 2012, prior to SXSWi, attracting over 45 attendees from various countries. The event featured sessions led by attendees on a range of topics relevant to SMB professionals and entrepreneurs, with visual notes captured throughout. Dell's presence continued throughout the weekend to provide refreshments and discuss the SXSWi experience.

• Dell hosted its first ever external facing “Unconference,” March 8th, 2012, the
day before SXSWi kicked off, with a variety of SMB professionals and social
media thought leaders
• We had over 45 attendees representing multiple countries
• The day was broken into 4 groups of sessions led by attendees who
discussed their specific area of interest
• A visual note-taker was on hand to record the Unconference and was also
utilized to capture a variety of relevant sessions for the SMB audience at
SXSWi
• Throughout the weekend, via the Dell SB & Entrepreneur SXSWi concierge
team, a branded presence was established in multiple locations to hand out
refreshments, and discuss how the overall SXSWi experience with attendees
