1. CHERISHING MEMORIES OF TRIP TO NASA
Ms. Meena Mittle and Ms Sapna Minglani along with a group of 8 students went for 15 days trip to USA from 28th May 2014 - 8th June 2014. The whole team loaded with enthusiasm went to NASA and attended the Graduation Camp where they experienced mission control and took part in various workshops and experiments.
With an aim to enhance the spirit of exploration and experimentation, the students and teachers stepped at Orlando followed by thrilling experiences at I-MAX Theatre.
Visits to Cocoa Beach, Buffalo, and Niagara falls was an exhilarating and rejuvenating experience in itself .The centre of attraction was the Maid of the Mist Ferry Raid which sent wave of excitement in the hearts of all. The students also went to Washington DC, the capital of USA. They had a stupendous time exploring and visiting The White House, The Congress Library, Indian African Museum and Manhattan Area.
Visiting New York, the city of Sky- Scrapers was a unforgettable experience for the students. They stepped on the Empire State Building, a monumental piece of art that makes the whole of New York visible from its 86th floor and saw Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Ground zero. They were fascinated to see the Statue of Liberty, indeed, a feast to the eyes. The students gained a first hand learning experience about the culture and life style as they interacted with the people of US .Overall the experience was truly momentous and remarkable for each one to cherish forever.
