• DD214-The Defense Department issues to each veteran a DD-214,
identifying the veteran's condition of discharge - honorable, general, other
than honorable, dishonorable or bad conduct.
• PQR (PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION RECORD-
Army)-This is a in depth records of training, promotions, duty
assignments, and more. May have other names for other branches
• ACE transcript - ACE provides quality assurance and policy
guidance for the Joint Services Transcript (JST) used by the Army,
Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard. More than 2,300 colleges
and universities recognize these transcripts as official
documentation of military training and experiences and applicable
ACE credit recommendations.
3. Considerations
• Basic Training-the initial training you completed when joining-
firing a weapon, discipline, equipment, physical fitness, defense, and more
• Primary MOC-Military occupational Classification-your job.
• Secondary MOC
• Additional duties and training- most all military
personnel will have additional jobs. Combat medic, master fitness trainer,
bus driver, tech supprt, training, etc
