Male and Female Reproductive Systems Assignment
1. Using the knowledge that you have just learned, describe the path of a sperm cell from
the testis to an egg cell in the ovary, state the name of every structure that it passes on its
journey, as well as the function of each structure (some of the words are filled in for you):

2. For the next activity, put the word in bold in the middle of the space provided, then
arrange all the words in ( ) around it (to create a “spider diagram”). Next, write a phrase
beside each of the outside words to show the relationship between it and the word in the
middle of your diagram.
A. Penis (scrotum, semen, seminal vesicle, epididymis, testosterone, urethra, vas
deferens)
B. Ovary (cervix, estrogen, follicles, follicle stimulating hormone, menstruation,
progesterone, uterus, vagina)
