I feel I resonate more with the Authentic Leader, reason it comes natural for me to encourage others,
and motivate them and allow them to feel they have the ability to do better and succeed in adverse
situations. I stress making mistakes at work or in life decisions are part of the process of developing
to greatness. I am not a natural born leader rather I am evolving each day and also taking the advice
I give to others and appreciate the not so good choices as the building blocks to the process. I am
comfortable in seeing a need in an areas that can improve and coaching a team to tackle the task to

The main focus of this report is the sustainability of Google as an employer. In the following
sections, we will discuss the purpose and scope of this assessment as well as the sources we are
considering for our research.
Purpose
The purpose of this project is to review Google and analyze it as a potential employer. Throughout
the report, we will cover their financial status, the culture of the company, and the future outlook.
Additionally, we will explore the benefits and incentives offered, and employment opportunities.
Our main goal is to come to a general consensus of what the company stands for and if it would be

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Google is a search engine that is used by the population to find information in a quick and painless
manner. Additionally, businesses use the browser to advertise their company, and find potential
customers. Google's goal is to implement new incentives to improve the productivity of the internet

Carry's essay offers us insight into an extremely relevant question in this day and age. Is our
increasing use of rapidly evolving technologies detrimental to the human brain? Or in other words,
"Is Google Making Us Stupid" (Carr 737). What Carr said may be offensive to some, but he has a
point. While I agree with Carr's statement that "I'm not thinking the way I used to think" (Carr 731).

What is google glass?
Google glass is a digital headset that can be worn as a pair of glasses. The glass usually(may differ
in special situations) has a small screen in the right upper corner of the frame which the user can use
to interact with the glass. This screen will keep the users updated to their e–mails, calls, messages
and other notifications. Google Glass has a lot more to offer than just these features. Users can
record, take pictures and ask for directions without using their hands. Because of the fact that the
camera is attached to the users' head the recorded video will be filmed from a new and unique
perspective.

Is Google Making Us Stupid? Nicholas Carr in the article, "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" argues
that the more people use technology, the more it's making people stupid. Throughout the article he
mentions many examples where he proves himself correct. Google is making us stupid because it's
affecting our concentration the more we rely on technology. Carr mentions his personal experience
with technology and how it has affected him. He points out his "concentration often starts to drift
after two or three pages" (961). Carr isn't the only one who has been affected by technology; he tells
us that even his "acquaintances" have had similar experiences. His acquaintances say, "The more
they use the Web, the more they have to fight to stay focused on long pieces of writing" (962). What
once used to come natural to us has become difficult. People used to rely on books for multiple
reasons when it came to research but now that technology has been used more frequently books are
not that common. Carr says "Research that once required days . . . can be done in minutes" (962).
Carr is mentioning the benefits of the Internet, for his argument he is using both sides so that the
reader can relate to his article and understand where he is coming from. Carr quotes Marshall
McLuhan when he points out that "the Net seems to be doing is chipping away my capacity for

When Google began, like any other company, management was very important. It was the baby of
Larry Page and Sergey Brin who were both students at Stanford during this time. The two had a
unique perspective on global information. Page and Brin rarely did things the conventional way but
there company was started on a basic structure. Google had added two new positions from 2004 but
even those additional positions aren't the major catalysts of Google's managerial success (Stross,
2008).
Page, in his first major reorganization since taking the reins as CEO earlier this week, placed
executives leading the groups directly under his supervision, eliminating management layers thought
to slow product development, according to sources familiar with the situation (Oreskovic. A 2011).
By bringing Gen Y'ers into top management teams may provide the knowledge and energy to speed
up the renewal of American business leadership and American business. For startups, we already
