An accomplished Hollywood film producer and senior executive, David Nicksay has served as an executive producer with Heliopolis Entertainment for a quarter of a century. Among his other industry honors, David Nicksay has gained admittance to the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (otherwise known as the Academy).

2. Introduction
 An accomplished Hollywood film producer and senior
executive, David Nicksay has served as an executive
producer with Heliopolis Entertainment for a quarter of a
century. Among his other industry honors, David Nicksay has
gained admittance to the prestigious Academy of Motion
Picture Arts and Sciences (otherwise known as the
Academy).
In addition to sponsoring and determining the winners of
the Oscars on an annual basis, the Academy sponsors a
number of other initiatives as part of its mission to
recognize excellence in the world of film and make
connections between disparate populations through the
motion picture medium. It plans to open the Academy
Museum of Motion Pictures in 2019.

3. The Academy Museum of
Motion Pictures
 When construction is finished, the Saban Building at the
corner of Wilshire and Fairfax in downtown Los Angeles
will house over 50,000 square feet of Academy Museum
exhibition galleries, a 288-seat theater, a state-of-the-
art education studio, a restaurant, a cafe, a store, and
various public/special event spaces. By offering unique
experiences of and insights into the art of moviemaking,
the Academy Museum aims to become the premiere film
institution of its kind in the world.
