1. Recce
The 2 locations I will use for my photoshoot are the carver’s field and the walk of art.
Carver’s field is a good open space with grass, it can be used for lots of types of shots and
there is plenty of tress for my model to use as a prop because this is the back cover of my
album. The walk of art would be great as it is a confined space with graffiti and art on the
walls, this really gives a great vibe for the rap album I am going for, graffiti sets the scene
well and gives off a vibe of rap and it is exactly the style I am going for.
The first location, carver’s field, is good because I could get the photos I have planned for, I
would use this location for the back cover of my album. There is little to no safety hazards in
this area so it is ideal for the situation, if a shot came out blurry it would not be a problem to
go back there and reshoot but I am looking for a sunset shot so I might miss it if I have to
reshoot. Taking a photo in carver’s field would be good for an up close shot I want because
it is flat and there will be nothing in the background of the shot.
The second location, the walk of art, is perfect for what I need, it gives off a look of rap and
grime music, perfect for what I need, and seems quite dark and has a lot of graffiti. If my
model wears the right clothes this will be a perfect scene for a front cover or maybe an
inside cover.
