• itslearning	supports	the	quick	management	of	student	groups	in	courses.
• Folders	of	content	can	be	created	and	shared	with	specific	groups.

Individual	Learning	Plan
• The	Individual	Learning	Plan	or	ILP	is	an	instrument	that	can	set	goals	and	guide	
the	learning	for	an	individual	learner.
• ILPs	are	built-up	around	target	skills	(or	competences).	For	each	skill,	goals	and	
tasks	can	be	created.	Commonly	an	ILP	is	created	for	a	specific	period	of	time,	
such	as	a	semester.
• The	plan	can	be	the	base	for	termly	meetings	with	the	student	and/or	his/her	
parents.	In	some	counties	this	is	even	mandatory.
• Although	the	ILP	can	be	used	as	a	checklist	of	tasks,	best	practice	in	individual	
learning	is	the	aspect	of	reflection.

Learning	Paths	– Differentiated	Learning
• A	Learning	Path	is	a	set	of	materials	that	are	followed	at	the	individual’s	pace	of	
learning.
• Teachers	can	quickly	set	up	paths	of	resources	that	change	depending	on	the	
student’s	understanding,	test	scores	or	when	they	have	completed	sections.
• Learning	paths	can	be	shared	and	re-used.	Shared	paths	can	be	customised	by	
teachers.
• Teachers	can	see	where	students	are	in	the	path	and	provide	more	support	if	
required.
• Students	can	self-pace	their	learning	path,	review	progress	and	always	know	how	
to	move	to	the	next	step.
