• Record minutes of Tutorial to evaluate pre-production work
• Identify the strengths and areas for improvement (list in columns)
• Analyse the effect and impact this had on your production
• Evaluate how successfully you managed and organised the
production
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of your planning
and it’s impact on your production
• Was your schedule initially detailed and realistic enough to allow you to achieve
good quality and complete footage?
• Was your shot list and storyboard detailed and substantial enough to fully cover
the 5 minute film?
• Were your locations suitably recce’d to consider background noise, lighting and
permissions
• Were your actors rehearsed, organised and the right choice for your characters?
• Did everyone in your crew know their roles and came prepared?
• Was the equipment checked, charged and working properly?
• Were your call sheets effective in that all resources and people turned up on
time?
• How effective overall was your management of the production process – what
have you learned from this, and what you improve on next time?
