- Cause: Composter located in
an area that received too
much sun. Worm population
cooked and died.

Vermicomposting to
Goat Composting
● Goat manure is cooler in temperature, easier to
use right away
● Higher in N than in cow manure
● Less odorous than cow manure
● Easier to spread than with cow manure

5. Current Composting Needs and How
They Meet Them
The Farm uses over 15 gallons of compost a month
Most from Goat Compost
Piles formed and mixed with hay
