Skills Audit – Review your strengths and weaknesses and confidence in the following areas:
Project Management
I have reasonable project management skills especially when the project is something im passionate about,
such as character design and 3D modelling.
Research and Ideas Generation
Im ok with research but I’d consider it one of my weaknesses because I prefer to get my design from spider
diagrams and sketches, which I am much better at.
Drawing Techniques
I consider my drawing techniques and ability to be one of my strongest features, I am confident that I can
draw my sidekick from many angles once I know what I want it to look like.
Adobe Photoshop
I am reasonably confident that I can use Photoshop effectively although there are a few areas I could
improve on.
Adobe Illustrator
I am less confident with Illustrator than I am with other software because I can get some of its controls and
features confused with photoshop.
NewTek LightWave - Modeler
Im still learning to use many of its features and controls but so far I find I relatively easy to use.

I understand some of the reasons for carrying out this assignment but I feel like there might be more to it

Yes, there are a lot of good business practices being used on that website such as micro transactions.
What is your goal for this assignment?
To have a finished robotic sidekick created and textured using Modeller and Layout with screenshots
uploaded to blogger
Constraints – What is going to cause you problems in this project (technical, time, legal and ethical issues etc.) and what will you
do to solve these problems?
Other tasks from this course are demanding a lot of time outside of lesson which could mean I have to rush
some parts of this task to make up for lost time outside of lesson or at home.
